Everything with a transverse engine: it is over-complicated and never works properly / reliably.

Was there a Panda 4x4?

Yes and they are great. I had a Mk1 many years ago

This was my last, more recent one

I looked at buying one of these once but got scared by too many unique to the model bits.

For some reason, in the U.K. Peugeot only sold the 4x4 as a one up from base GL or Mi16. They did however all come with BX rear suspension. Not that anyone bought one.

So far I've seen only two cars that I wouldn't, except the bimotors. The RX4 and the Cavalier.

This is one of those weird topics that got me excited as young lad/teenager back in the late Eighties, conventional cars that had a 4x4 variant. After Audis Quattro every other manufacturer felt they needed a slice of the AWD pie as well.

Was and is - every generation of Panda has had (at least) one! They're all meant to be great at going off road as well.

That is excellent.

They also did a Berlingo, hell yeah!

Drive shafts that pass through weird stretched springs; WCPGW? Isn't there a shiter labouring to revive a Dangel 504 pickup?
