Only 15 mins away from me so I'll attend. I'll have to wait until Thursday to get a ticket as that payday for me.

The tickets are free. I booked mine a week or so ago, but I imagine that they are still available.

All being well, I'm going to be attending the event in The V70:

There was a lovely metallic blue Ibiza at the last social. I wonder if it wil be there this time?

Was it @coachie by any chance?

I might go to this as near to me and Mrs SiC is away for the weekend anyway.

Does anyone have a link to hand on how to grab a ticket?

Per car I believe, and it was me last time @SEATMad.  I went with MsCoachie and even she liked it, although I just left her at the excellent cafe with a coffee and breakfast roll, leaving me free to walk around and not talk to anyone else.

I would have been at the excellent Rustival in it, but one of my front calipers had seized over the winter and I only noticed it after a couple of miles down the M4, when I had to brake suddenly and ended up halfway on the hard shoulder.   Turned back and got there in my appliance, although not before burning three finger tips on the offending brake disk (yes, I am really that stupid).

I will try to get it fixed in time so we can have a Special off in the car park and out misery each other with the lack of features.

There is also a very good (so I have been told) free show in the centre of Coleford on Easter Monday, so may try to attend that too.

Just looked back at my photos of the day, and as usual I managed to not take a photo of my own car.

I did however visit nearby Bibury and was startled at their open admission of the poor water quality in the river Coln.

Yeah it'll be great to see you and have our special off!

I made it there and back with no issues! Only about a 110 mile round trip, put £60 of fuel in and still have a bit left!

First time at one of these, and first time at the classic hub too, it's worth the trip if you're localish just for a coffee, bacon roll and to mooch round the classics for sale.

Few pics from the day;

The sat nav sent us down some pretty sketchy lanes through the Cotswolds!

Looking forward to the next one.
