barrett
Nice, reminds me of my Auntie's now sadly departed Citroen AX, which she called 'The Garden' due to the amount of plant-life growing on it.
Jon
My dad's old MK1 Rover Sterling (gold, 825 model - ultimate shite?) had furry green vegetation on the rear window rubbers, right next to the 'Moss Security' stickers...
Lord Sterling
My dad's old MK1 Rover Sterling (gold, 825 model - ultimate shite?) had furry green vegetation on the rear window rubbers, right next to the 'Moss Security' stickers...WOW! Have you got any pics Cav? My dad had a Gold mk1 Sterling 825, D233KYG, a Leeds registered car!!!!
Jon
I'm sure I could find a pic if I searched hard enough but he did chop it in for a New base model Pug 106 diesel in 1996. Bizarelly, the Sterling replaced a Daihatsu Domino!Anyway, it's reg was D800SAW, if you fancy seeing how much longer it lasted (I'd be surprised if it saw much of 1997). morris_ital_lover
Looks like D800SAW made it another two years, and painter black. Whilst D233KYG lasted until 1998!m0rris

That would be great. A mk1 825 Sterling in Gold is the ultimate shite. D800SAW is one plate to behold. Do you remember if your Dads had beige or Dark interior. A mate of mine spotted a Gold 825 Sterling near Evesham not so long back, I'll dig out the pic soon.
