No photo, but I had a mk3 Focus on rental once and found myself on a motorway behind a mk2, which was behind a mk1...

My pre-facelift Corolla meets a facelift friend in the supermarket car park.

And today, in a different supermarket car park.

An SX no less, with the 4AGE.

But what’s this behind me?

An even older Corolla!

And it was absolutely lovely, too.

It took me months to find spaces next to the other three GTCs in the works car park. They all start at 5 am, and when I arrive at 7:30 the only spaces are further from.the front door.

Yep, that one. I wonder what happened to it as he wanted silly money and 'sold' it several times on ebay over a couple of years. Either he's still got it or gave up and weighed it in.

These ones look like they are commencing a mating ritual

That's how Transit Connects are made.

When I had my silver 306 I used to regularly drive past one which was identical and had a very nearly consecutive reg number, think it was numerically within 5 or so of my car.  Always meant to get a photo of the pair but never got around to it.

By the grille the red one looks like some sort of a Chrysler.

The grey/blue one is a Chevrolet, a Fleetmaster I think, and according to the DVLA, was taxed this month!

So, unfortunately, not twins, in fact arch rivals.

Not quite so good from the front as one is a Series 1 and the other a Series 2. Both bought from this forum and the plan was only to keep one of them, but that was nearly 7 years ago and we still have them both on the road.

Back when we had a pair of his and hers Volvo estates. The red one is sold but we still have the gold one.

Having his and hers pair of Alfa 156 V6 6 speed manual felt good. Then covid came and our mileages drastically reduces so my 156 is now sold.

2 almost identical cars made at almost the same time by two completely separate and independent companies!

I know appearances can be deceptive, but that Maxi looks surprisingly solid on the top half at least.

I'll have to get a picture - near me there's a self store shipping container place with about nine Seicento Sportings on top of the containers, all in a line alternating between red and yellow.

That is why I couldn't find one when I was looking for one!
