Stopover at the Peugeot Museum at Sochaux

Back home, meeting the twin!

Best: came with a trunk full of parts: new lights, new front wing, all sorts of mechanical bits.

I've been to The Adventure Poegeut. One of the better European car museums I found, also the enormous Cité de l'Automobile down the road in Mulhouse but that's mainly pre-war cars.

A few bits need fixing to get it ready for "TÃœV".

New exhaust.

White headlights, yellow ones are not road legal here, but tolerated... may switch them back after.

And since i had a spare right side mirror why not install it.

Nice pair!

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! The French might as well give up eating cheese, smoking Gauloises & drinking wine lakes if they're giving up on yellow headlights! I thought yellow headlights were still legal but no longer being fitted to vehicles. Ah well.... Another illusion shattered; once again, fortune vomits on my eiderdown....

In France you can keep them, here in Germany you fail TÃœV (MOT) with yellow lights. I don't know of any case where it caused any problem using them, many people put the yellow bulbs back into their french classics right outside the inspection station :mrgreen:

Apologies! I ought to have appreciated you were speaking from a GERMAN perspective. I'd clocked the number plate on one of your cars (the French one!) & assumed you were there. Your reference to the TUV should have given the game away!

Both are GLS with 2.2 L Petrol engines. Identical twins, just a few months apart.

Would love to have a SX with the 2x triple Weber PRV V6 , especially since i already have a 504 convertible with a PRV engine.

Currently few SX are on the market, all either rust buckets or overpriced. Who knows... one day i may come across a good one.
