A deathtrap Ashtray. Perhaps putting it in the fragger, with the person who cut the springs locked in it!

Starting bid: £5,000.00 [ 0 bids ] Reserve price not met

Really belongs in the 'bargains' thread but the front indicator/parklights arrangement and the bargain bucket spot lights have jolly well made my day. I will actually SHOW MY ARSE IN BURTON'S WINDOW if this sells for over five grand.

1.3 engine for maximum lolage.

I like the word 'replica'.

'Designed as a one off to resemble a certain VW/Audi owned luxury car makers GT model, it originally looked as shown in photo's 9-10. I then made the mistake of trying to market the body panels as a "replica" body conversion kit called the TRIBUTE AUTOMOTIVE GT COUPE, said manufacturer was not best pleased and I was legally forced to modify the car to look as it does now'

'the whole saga has left a bad taste'

Yeah, we can see.

Cav, the owner of that Shove-it is clearly a berk. What are the odds the engine wont fit in without major surgery to the bodywork? And for that kind of moolah, it should be a fully completed 'hot shove-it'. Even then, about £3.5k max, and would look better in silver, not white.

And don't get me started on the clown with the heavily knobbed Supra. Probably added about half a tonne in weight, with the GRP, and resin & Isopon!

I'm puzzled by this Supra saga - why would Audi (I'm assuming it is Audi) come down heavily on a one man band type operation flogging GRP panels to "modify" an old Japanese car with limited appeal and availability? It could be argued, I suppose, that there is a homage to the TT design but it's not an outrageous copy, cashing in on VAG's success. And why didn't Audi jump up and down on Paul Banham's Metro based TT inspired kit? This doesn't really add up to me :?

As kit cars go, I thiink this one actually looks fairly accurate to the prototype...

DOH !! Well, there you go!:oops::roll::roll::lol::lol:

But proves my point - if you can't tell what it's meant to be, why would they object? (EFA:- Ican't tell what it's meant to be)

That "Vaxhall" Chevette advert suggested I look at this, and to be fair, it's as nice as the Chevette is hopeful:

Liking this, £8k seems steep for an old XJS, even a nice looking TWR one

I used to have a 1.1 Ghia with the same CVT gearbox - one of the nippiest cars away from the lights cos it didn't change gear. Just set the revs at 3000 and it left most cars behind (no really!!) Not so sure about a pink one, but 43k miles and only £600 atm, very tempting!

This would look GR8 on my delivery round. Plenty of scene tax in the price, but how often do you see a nice original one?
