These are all from the same seller, the story is that he's recently bought a car garage with 21 cars still inside it, all have been there since 1995!, I can't wait to see what else comes up!

The garage on street view is here btw. http://g.co/maps/fvrp2

this is not the garage storing '21 cars' - i have been to the place many times, its shared premises, and there isnt any old chod here other than what the owners buy locally and from ebay. One bloke breaks triumphs, scimitars and range rovers, another bloke does general garage work and keeps a few motocross bikes and a third bloke builds mk2 scrote rally cars. It would be a wasted trip to enquire about the 21 cars, i suspect hes just selling up his crap, bought 10 gallon of tyre black, spent half an hour making up a story and now WOW BARN FIND

£1500, tops. Another dreamer, thinking their car is worth a boatload, when it isn't. That Shove-it is only worth around a grand too. This time of year is the worst time to flog, as everyone is skint because of the Winter Solstice Festival/Clinton Cards rip off time

Fook me if that Chevette was just a bag of sand I'd be buying a train ticket to Jockland right now...

Looking at the photos of that Shove-it, there is an awful lot of rust appearing on the floor pan, and around the rear turrets. Even rust is appearing on the re boxed transmission tunnel, which looks to me that the quality of the build isn't that great, and signs of a not looked after car. You can also see a quite big panel gap on the front valance in the photos too. One to run away from

Dunno like, the floors just look dirty to me. To me it's only really rusty if you can get your hand through it. I think the lack of carpets is pish anyway who really wants a cold uncovered floor as if 10kg of carpet is really gonna make that much difference to the performance

Much unloved on here it seems but I reckon this is a genuine bargain...

..full MOT and a reasonable £595 price tag plus it's not been dry bummed for the reg. plate either. They're not as bad as some people have said, and quite an entertaining drive plus piss easy to work on.

If you think that's cheap, a mate bought a white 1965 2 dr much better than that for £500, it had 8 months Mot. Seriously, it needed one wing (or repair), a straightened rear bumper and paint on the door shuts and it was fit for a show. Even at the £850 he sold it on for 6 months later, it was an absolute fecking bargain.

Desperate seller + anything in West Wales not 4X4 or diesel = low price WIN

The Shove it is showing way too much rust, you can see that one of the door bottoms has just about gone in the corner too. For that kind of money, the rust everywhere should be sorted, even if its just a bit of rust eater and a blow over with a rattle can. Rust like that is more than enough to put off potential buyers, and he's taking it on a track day tomorrow. If he stuffs it, bye bye sale. As a trader, he really should know better unless his name is 'Arfur Daley'

he does his fair share of track days and buys up anything rwd, he ran the big ends on the lancer turbo i sold him and parked it round the back of the garage where it probably still is.

ive always wondered why the garage changed its name from Edinburgh retro cars, anyone remember his article in retro cars mag.

Deffo one to avoid then. I wonder if he is selling because the engine is getting ronnied too?

Vauxhaul

Nice that but looks a bit over clean.

'I'm having to sell due to ill health, and now not being able to work'

'As mentioned previously I'm selling the car due to ill health and being self-employed'

I heart those Mk1 Astra GTE's...had an 8valve mk2 on a D plate once but always preferred the Mk1.

That Maestro shill mobile is superb - not only has it a:

The interior is imaculate and has a tilt and retard sun roof

But the engine is:

The mileage is only 29k and thus the engine is as fit as a butchers dog

LOLZ at a car seller demanding paypal because he thinks it will give him extra security

I'm not so sure it's been shilled. I've stuck it on my watch list, partly out of curiosity and partly because I reckon it will make a decent price - a friend of mine reckons his TD Monty gave better mileage than the Rover 220 TD (with intercooler) that he drove after it, and is fastideous enough to have logged every fill-up on the Monty (he could tell by the drop in MPG when the anti-waxing agent went in :shock: ) but I'm no so sure whether he's done this with the Rover. He really needs to at least lurk on here.

Went bust apparently. So I heard anyway.

I wouldn't go there with the Elan. I've driven a shonky one and it's the most disappointing of experiences. A bit like dreaming of Cheryl Cole and discovering that her idea of foreplay is to treat you like a toilet attendant. Well, I thought it was a shonky one. Perhaps that's just what they're like...

Good SEs are bloody good. They don't feel quick, but they are.

The 'raft' setup on the front is weird to get right if it's been meddled with, the clock is in a truly ridiculous position, and the switchgear is from a Carlton, but they're great fun when they're right.
