What's your todays weapon of choice

As the title say, what have you decided to drive for pleasure or what have you decided to use for the daily drive to a from work or the shops.

Today for me its the playful but slow but ever so economical 8,000 mile 56 plate Citroen c1 bought for under a grand.

A pair of 'Hello Kitty' slippers.  They proved adequate for the walk from kitchen to home office.

A 100W (me) powered 27 gear two-wheel vehicle.   On which I get quite cold.  Better than cold-starting a grumbly old diesel engine to travel 1.2 miles.  and then cold-starting it again at the end of the day to travel 1.2 miles back.

Currently a 2013 GT86, but next Monday I'm picking up a 2021 Corolla GR Sport estate.

I only own 1 car at a time these days. When I was younger I had a Fiat Panda, MK2 Fiesta and a Saxo at once.

I wasn't popular with my Dad..

Not going anywhere today, but have spent some time taking the wheels on and off the Jaguar. IMG-20220127-WA0002.thumb.jpeg.14cac01aeeaa861be002dd3740f0066c.jpeg

I had to take the W124 Mercedes E320 Coupe for Service and MOT today. What a pleasure it is to drive that car and I think one of the best bits the ride is wonderful.

The return was in my modern Range Rover that has just been serviced and MOTed. A big lump for just for one person with no luggage to travel 20 miles and while I often choose a cross country lane route home, with this I stuck to the main roads.

With the E320 Coupe away these are the only taxed, insured and MOTed cars we have at home and remember these are for two people.

I usually have a few things on the drive at any time so depends what I've got planned. If I'm only working from the office I take whatever I want. Although I have nice cars I'm quite happy running around in my 500,000 mile Berlingo.            If I have to go and see customers I usually use my Vito which is my do everything machine.

The Vito is my usual daily but I bought a 530d estate recently just to sell on but reminded how much I like them so although this one is for sale, I haven't really tried hard with the advertising yet.

I try and use the 205 at least once a week if the weather is ok. Its currently the only 'classic' I have since I sold my Triumph 2000 a few weeks ago. I'm sure I'll have something else soon enough. That is the problem with having a trailer and virtually unlimited parking.

Today I used my feet encased in the finest GEOX shoes known to man to walk from my accommodation building to the front door of college. I have tried levitating but have consistently failed.

"There is an art to" levitating ", or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss."

My 205 GTI is the same. I'm about to have a look on Youtube to see how to get to the bulbs

Working from home today, so no weapons of choice. Might go to the shop later, in which case it'll be my modern Fabia.

I have returned home to find a new Yaris hybrid on the drive so that will be tomorrow's chariot but it's usually a 190k S80 or my Saab 9-3 cab.

The Navara.

Perfect for all those scary puddles and kerbs. It's no  Volvo V90 CC (my last new vehicle, which was like driving to work on a cloud) but it's a nice place to sit.
