Trigger, I was just thinking of you earlier and hoping things were going OK. Sincere condolences if the news is the worst. :(

Thank you everyone, Hannah done a test yesterday morning for some reason which came back as negative (bearing in mind it was positive last week and she has all the normal pregnancy symptoms), we was worried and spoke to the IVF clinic who said to come in Friday morning for a check, This evening she came home from work upset due to having tummy pains, and she went to the toilet a short while ago and she thinks it's came out.

I'm trying to be positive but it's not looking hopeful, She's really upset about it as so am i, She's blaming herself saying silly stuff but i know these things can happen.

^You can hang on to the hope that there are various reasons for those symptoms - many of which don't mean the end. And those P-tests aren't always accurate, even the expensive ones which promise the earth.

That's what I'm doing CJ, She done a cheap test yesterday morning which had a very faint positive reading and then used a more expensive clear blue one this morning which again was a very faint positive, I still don't know what to think, She's adamant she's lost it but she don't tent to think the worse all the time.

I'll wait and see what the result of her blood test are in the morning.

I don't know what to say other than my thoughts are with you.

Trig, i dont know how far along you might be (I have lost some this way at very early stages... well not me but my girlfriends), but if so you just need to realise its not the fault of anyone, in nearly all cases its something was wrong with the fetus and it happened for a reason as something was not right.

I know that no amount of stupid poems from the hospital, written on pics of flowers can help you (which they give out, the girls seem to like them so just roll with it), there will be other chances where it will work properly, Trust me.

I really hope its okay as i have been there a couple of times and its grim mate.

Oh Trigger, I'm sorry to hear that this might have happened. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get good news tomorrow.

Oh, that is terrible. I hope everything turns out okay, my thoughts are with you both.

Hillman - It was only very early days, about 3-4 weeks i think, I dread to know how people feel who lose babies 5-7 months into it, Just makes it worse as my wife can't conceive children without help, The first IVF treatment never worked but this second one seemed to, It was the first positive result we had since started 5 years ago.

Sorry to hear that dude, that will make it worse no doubt. IIRC its something like 1 in 4 can go a bit pear shaped in the first couiple of months. Hope it turns out okay mate.

Trigger, difficult to know what to say, but hope you are both ok.

Thanks again everyone, Sadly she lost it overnight, It's been a bit shit telling our parents who were excited for us, She's sleeping now after been upset all morning, I'm sure she'll get better though.

It would have been easier if the IVF treatment hadn't work.

That is a shame, I feel for you both. Best wishes, Neil.

Jesus, I'm sorry trigger.

I can't imagine how you and your partner are feeling.

Thoughts are with you.

Very sorry to hear this Mike, puts my grumps into perspective I think :(

Cheers but grump away, I want cheering up!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Trig. Im sure when it eventually does all work out for you and the mrs it will be well worth the effort.

Sad news Trig. As you say, this can all too easily happen. As a friend of mine discovered only last month. It's a bloody miracle that it happens at all when you consider what actually needs to happen.

Fingers crossed for the next one. Better get some Talbot Solaras downloaded to your phone for your next clinic visit...

I was just mulling over Wednesday's round trip to Aberdeen. I was just grumping to myself that I hadn't seen any shite all day (yes, even thro' Dundee  ), when I remembered spotting a nicely faded early Saab 9000. Forgot to take a pic, didn't I? What a fucking idiot.

I've found that a quick illumination of ye olde brakelights cause these muppets to back off fairly rapidly..................

Same here but once when I did it the guy behind, with wife an horde of kids, went absolutely mental and practically caused a pile-up.

Sorry to hear your sad news Trigger, really gutted for you both. :(
