Mondeo thinks it is french. Indicators failed now.

Fit a fake taxi sign, no one ever expects indicators to be used then.

Not a grump as such but was stuck in very slow moving traffic this morning into Scarborough. Not sure if it was the cause as it's always busy there but we eventually got to a broken down C1/107/Aygo thing.

Bloke aged 20's in it, people just driving round him, had his hazards on, don't know if it had just happened. Pulled up at the side.

Asked him was it broken? Yes. Want a push to the side? Yes. OK then. Very light got it rolling and as he was near an island road clear again. Left him with it as moved it quite a bit and them bumped it onto the grass verge.

Not difficult, took less than 5 minutes. Why didn't other people help??

I would say I'll chase up that free/scrap price daewoo in London and roll in that for a while and send the gooner up your way, but tbh that might just finish you off...

Indicators not a relay or something?

Ebay is full of timewasters these days.

It's always been full of timewasters.

You have my sympathy, I have just experienced the same, eventually a real buyer turned up, hopefully the same will happen for you.

Bub mate, you don't need anything to go wrong at the moment. If your dad's car is a known quantity and reliable, take it over the Mondeo.

If things are as bad as you're saying, the last thing you want is an FTP during work hours.

You have my sympathy, I have just experienced the same, eventually a real buyer turned up, hopefully the same will happen for you.

I'll keep going. I felt I did more than enough for the previous buyer, who, after chipping me down on price, extracting free spares and taking a month to pay the remaining balance, tried to force an early collection on me at the very last minute during a hectic session at work. We had a colossal row and he walked away. An apology would have been nice, but hey, manners are priceless these days.

I've since had several Northern Irish enthusiasts try to buy it for next to nothing,  moaning about the cost of ferries and transport.

My patience is ebbing away. I need the van to sell to pay bills, for someone to respect the fact that my time isn't worthless, to stick to prior arrangements and not expect the moon on a stick.

Another buyer who wants a different car "simply can't pay any more" and wants it delivering to his door - at my expense.

It must be me.

I think my days of buying daft side projects are over. The stress and misery required to move them on simply isn't worth the effort.

A pathetic state of affairs all round.

My dad isnt sure if he wants to sell yet,he has his cab full time now so doesny use the car but he likes to have it just in case. He said i can use it if i need to long term then if i like it and he wants shut ill keep it. Cant be picky!

3 times for me from Norn Irn when selling the Avenger in 2009 - it had recently been resprayed and had 8 month test when another Irishman flew over to Leeds/Bradford and picked it up, no quibbles.  GLWTS.

Ordered new springs for my reconditioned back axle from Trusted Springs. Told it would be two weeks. Called at two weeks and was told because of people on hols that they weren't ready.  Left it for a week and they are still not ready. Ffs. how much longer ? Won't be ready till next bloody Wednesday. That's four and a half effing weeks. He must have known people were going on holiday Ffs.  Why tell me it will be two weeks. Meanwhile I'm running around with a totally buggered axle that makes awful noises. I don't want to put old springs on an axle that all the rest is bloody new.

Will never recommend to anyone. Trusted Springs can Fro.
