Insurance companies, mrs fp's insurance was up for renewal and the renewal quote she received last week said all the details were the same but had no info on them, i told her to ring them which she did, they had removed any other vehicle, no problem a new quote was generated to start 2/4, today she receives an email stating it's been cancelled so she gets straight on the phone and the person on the phone checked and said she is definitely insured the email is a cock up at their end, i checked the mid while she was on the phone and it's showing as not insured, i understand it can take a while to show but what a fuck up, she's now in a foul mood and I feel like poking her in the eye with a pointy stick

Still not received logbook for fiesta. Tried advertising it but no joy. The person who has let me park the vectra on their drive is moving so no storage anymore. Also logbook missing and overall it's too good to scrap but if I was to scrap it I'd have to pay 25 quid for logbook to get 30 quid in scrap. Considering it's had new brakes,cambelt water pump etc 4 days before the accident,I've fitted new rad and also got sump to go on I don't think it's worth scrapping.

I had one of those dreams last night  (no, not on of THOSE   ) in this I went and collected the dollop from the spray booth and it was soooooo bad, you could see the colour of the filler through the paint as the coat was so thin. There were sanding marks everywhere and it looked appalling. I woke up crying.... nearly!

Sadly I can also remember the theme and it's now in my head as well - although in my case it also makes me want to get in the car to go home. When I used to visit family on weekends, when it was on years ago, the theme tune starting was the signal for me to say "I'll be off now"

I remember one episode where the old biddy had arranged a little snack for the family.

 

Cue shot of a huge table laden with dozens of plate filled with goodies.
