A mate of a mate was unwittingly shagging an underage girl a while ago, she was 15 he was in his 20s. Anyway, ages after they finished she got in touch announcing she had been underage and demanded a grand to keep quiet. He couged up but a few months later she asked him for more money. This time he told her to FRO and sure enough she went to the police and he ended up in prison over it.

When I was at school our RE teacher Mr Frayne, left his wife for a 16yr old ex pupil when he was probably in his 40's. Didn't get sacked though as she had left the school and was 16 when it all came out (see my earlier post). I think the rules were probably a little different then but were strenghened for exactly this reason.

 

Last I heard of him he was the Youth Support Co-ordinator. No joke.

I think the rules must have changed as I knew someone that was a teacher and he left his wife for a former pupil. Even though she was over 18 the court said he had been in a position of trust so he was still treated as a sex offender and lost his job.

A friend of mine had a company that supplied catering equipment to schools and he used to know all the gossip with the teachers.

 

One case I remember him telling me was a male teacher in his late 40's that became infatuated with a girl at the school.

 

One day he goes home and tells his wife that the marriage is over, he loves someone else, she and his daughter are disgusted and she kicks him out

 

The funny thing was he wasn't even seeing the schoolgirl.

 

So having split up with his wife over her, he then goes up to the girl and tells her he has dumped his wife for her and that they can now live happily ever after etc.

 

Schoolgirl is horrified, not interested in a romance and reports him, teacher loses his job, sells his car and possessions and takes a shitty job to pay for his bedsit rent and the mortgage on the family home that his wife and daughter are living in.

 

The bloke hasn't got anything to go home to but a pot noodle and a wank!

7ish this morning SWMBO gets a witheld number phone call on the landline, caller gives her name then asks her is that correct, then gives our exact address inc house name and asks to confirm...by now she's worried and perturbed cos i'm out on the road early hours, so asks the caller what's this about without confirming the address, caller says its (a mans name) and then makes disgusting sexual suggestions, she tells him to FO and puts the phone down, and immediate recall which she didn't pick up.

We've always been ex directory, but sod alls safe now from the data companies.

 

Worried her cos of the exact name and address, so she's rung the old bill and logged it, then calls me.

 

We bought some new pukka cordless phones and i suggested she check the instructions cos these are supposed to be call blockers if needed, so thats now done and our landline will no longer accept witheld numbers, the line goes dead at the other end if you try.

 

I'd like to offer this bastard a fuckin good boot up the bollocks from my size 11 DeWalt steelies, but obviously that aint going to come to pass.

I received a text message from HMRC this afternoon, reminding me I have until January 31st to pay the shortfall from my Self Assessment.

 

As this was the first I'd heard from them since submitting it, I called them to check it wasn't a mistake. "No mistake sir, you owe us £5176". No emails, no letters, no messages online...feckers.

Could have found a letter with name and address on it in the recycling, could work at anywhere that has legitimately got your details and just gets a kick out of making a note of phone numbers and being a twat. Very little chance of finding out who it is sadly

Apparently my first speeding ticket of EVAH will shortly be winging its way to me. I got snapped going 38 in a work van just before Xmas, how I missed the camera van I don't know. Frankly, I'm still amazed that it's taken nearly 20 years of knobbish driving to actually get caught.

Had a couple of incidences of male teachers shagging girls in my year at school while I was there, it happens all the time by the sound of it.

 

As for the underage girls thing, I'm 24 now and, maybe some people are different but I can honestly say I have no interest in anyone younger than about 20. They're just too young and immature. Same age or older, or maybe three or four years younger but no more than that.

Did exactly the same thing in my work van (same company I believe) doing the same speed back in 2012. It was a copper with a speed gun who got me. Did the speed awareness course, was a bit of a waste of time really, but interesting if you like people watching, as it was an impressive cross-section of society there. Most people were in their forties/fifties and some were very well-off, judging by the cars in the car park. I rolled up in my Austin Cambridge of course.

In the dim and distant past I'm sure I did a clutch on a suitcase engined 205 and I don't remember it being difficult at all . Doesn't it all come off the end like a mini but with a shaft into the bottom of the gearbox?

That was in a 205. You can't get the end case off in a samba/104/LNA.

+1. I feel like an old man saying this but fug me, if you have any sort of eye deficiency then you're knackered. The Sony head unit I've got has something like point 6 writing and buttons that my thumb can press four of at once.

 

Keep thinking about putting the Philips tape player I have kicking about in, four presets that you can hit with your fist. I just listen to the radio anyway and seem to have graduated from Radio 2 to Radio 4.
