I'm going to fucking lose it soon if that cunt at the back of my house doesn't shut the fuck up with that radio!!!!

It's not mega loud but loud enough to proper piss me off. Lost it a bit earlier and shouted at the stupid bitch but it did fuck all. Heard one old gimmer has already moved due to problems with her and the council as normal doing fuck all.....

Was that enough swearing, I think I could manage some more :-)

Last time I was concussed I lost the speech recognition part of my head for a few hours. Hilarious yet frustrating as the doctors might as well have been speaking Dutch. Apparently I was speaking gibberish too which was a major worry as they thought major damage had been done but I recovered in a few hours.

One MOTHER of a headache though. Moral of this story is never catch a Rugby ball when seven Irish forwards are bearing down on you. Top lads, fucking animals though!

Concussion is an arse.

Wrong end dude.

Water based household gloss, it's shit

I quite agree but if you have a Johnston's Decorator Centre* near you, their's is better than the shite that B&Q etc. dump on you.

*trade but they will take your money as long as you don't piss them around while trade customers are in there.

Rusty ford shocker . Fuck me very time I weld a bit I find more rot. It started with a wee hole on the floor and I've now replaced the whole front of the floor! I was just finishing up and found one of the front jacking point totally rotted out so have had to cut out another 6 sq inches and this bit is all bends and flanges ! Bastard. It's never going to be finished by the time the tax runs out. I've not even looked at the passenger side. Eep

'Good tyres' in eBay speak appears to mean 'scrubbed slick on the shoulders'.

AA, robbing bastards! Had my renewal through the other week for £16 p.m. up from £6 a month, bit excessive I thought. Anyway, rang them and got it down to a tenner a month. Not happy but I'm reactionary and hate change...

Anyway, I've now got Honda assist free with the car so I thought I'd cancel the AA as Honda assist is through the AA and covers more than I currently get.  So I ring to cancel and as a loyal (ten years plus) customer I can have the same cover for.....

£2.28 p.m. if I stay with them!

Cheeky, robbing fuckers!

My managers want to play office politics, fuck them, I'll play office politics! See how quickly they cave in when I stop doing them cheeky favors 8 or 9 times a day...

Got a decent quote for some UPVC fascias.

Accepted the quote only to be told that it would be October before the job could be done.

When I rang for the quote why not say "Sorry full until October."

My grump is just with myself, i'm slightly stressed at work (I work in a team of three, one is on maternity leave, one is on long-term sick-leave, leaving me juggling three workloads) I'm making silly mistakes, not so much with work, but with everything else. In the last few days firstly I had a problem with the car, it wouldn't get off the drive I was letting the clutch in but no bite, no movement; I hadn't started the engine. Took the dog out for a walk, looked down to see I'm wearing carpet slippers. Went to cashpoint and drew money out, walked to nearby shop and when I went to pay found that I had left the money in the cashpoint (not there when I went back). And today nearly rolled the car into a wall when I got out without putting the handbrake on.

Apparently I could do with a holiday, no idea when I can get a day off anytime soon though

Probably had the mitigating circumstances to be taken into consideration. "Well if he hadn't have parked it on those double yellow lines it wouldn't have been there for me to stand on"  Still I'm sure the driver still got a parking ticket

That reminds me, has anything happened to that guy who drove onto Brands Hatch circuit in the white polo?

Check with your bank - if someone was waiting behind you and thieved it then you are out of luck, but if there was nobody there, then after a certain time limit the machine sucks the money back in.

Remember that lad who jumped on the bonnet of the McLaren? Yep,, fined only £300, what a joke.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-west-wales-28463221

and no doubt it will get paid in £1 a week installments, a more fitting punishment would be the owner of the McLaren being allowed to jump up and down on the lads wedding vegetables in ice skates, that way the knob end cant dilute the gene pool any more

Err think your employer needs to know before you are off long term sick....... No job is worth getting ill for (and I love mine,no chance I would get ill for it. Again..)

I spied a heavily front ended Talbot/Chrysler Alpine on the back of a salvage firms car transporter today, It looked mint apart from the damage, 2 tone green and it was spotted in south cheshire on the M6. Anybody know anything about it? Must be a very rare car!

Posted

My friends dad had one of those in about 80, if its metallic light green over dark green and high spec with alloys, velour green interior and I think maybe even a rev counter. He swapped it for a much nicer BMW 525e, but the Alpine was certainly distinctive.

There really can't be many of that spec left, if any.

This is me March 2013. I did nothing as blokes typically don't until eventually the body could take no more and plummeted into anxiety and depression. Get to your GP, this sort of thing is easy to sort if you get to it early.

If you have a family, think of them. I ended up withdrawing into myself, wives and kids don't enjoy that. Employers don't either as they don't want staff off long term. A bit of CBT will help a lot, drugs may not be the answer, they don't work for all. Your GP will be able to advise and if you have BUPA you can get it through there, much quicker than waiting for the NHS. See someone though - its like clutch slip, if you ignore it it's not going to get any better until one day the clutch packs up and leaves you stranded.......

Concussion. I know I mentioned it already but I REALLY hate it. Tried driving today and felt travel sick. How the fuck does THAT work?

That Escort is tragic, and I would've head butted the Punto driver on the bridge of the nose after that comment.

Bought a better coil for the 2cv, it was stumbling a bit when it got hot and decent original spec coils are hensteeth.  My recent trip to the states allowed me to pick up an Accel super coil for much less than in the UK.  Fitted all good. As usual, anything superfluous for my car I purchase is swiftly rewarded with a breakdown.  Driving home, the heater cable came loose and tangled in the driveshaft. That'll be two punctured cv boots, filthy shirt from unhooking it and grease everywhere.
