Richard Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 they'd go for the one Jeremy Clarkson said was the 'best. car. (in it's class) that I. have. ever driven'. He says that nearly every week though, especially if it's a racer/supercar.
MrDuke Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I sent my licence off last week for an address change, and I'm now paranoid that they'll f**k it up somehow. Why oh why didn't I photocopy it first?

MrDuke Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I would be more worried about some f***er at the post office stealing your identity myself. Meh, I'm sure he'll have more fun with it than I ever did. It taught me that they are massively overrated, especially when it comes to the driving experience, and that anything under 3-4K will be a terminally bodged shiteheap. They do look nice, though, and loads of people who know nothing about classic cars will praise you for owning a proper* classic.

Junkman Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 That fucking Mars Miner Mr. Bollox posted into the fucking Ebay thread yesterday gave me a fucking nightmare last fucking night. Hence I'm in a rotten fucking mood today. Can someone please give me a proper depression I can enjoy?
TimothyClaypole Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Water Company telling people to be careful with water... it pissed it down the last 8 months as I remember... shove it. Cavcraft 1
philibusmo Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I really hate sanding down car body filler with wet and dry. It is possibly my least favourite job to do on a car, being tedious, uncomfortable, tiring and time consuming. Doing this job today, while my neighbors watched The Sound Of Music at full fucking volume with their front windows open has made me no longer fear hell. Wilko220 1
Negative Creep Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Still finding bastard fleas in my room despite daily vacuuming and 2 doses of ultra strength flea spray
cort16 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I like sanding with wet and dry as it doesn't clog up every 2 seconds, cover everything in dust and create rock hard nose goblins like dry sanding does.
vulgalour Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 From the messages my body is sending me, I suspect I might have spent too long in the sun working on the Golf the past few days. I'm such a dumbass, and now I feel really queasy and a bit headachey... I bet I go out and do more work in the sun tomorrow anyway because I'm a massive front bottom.
skattrd Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Don't overdo it in the heat mate, cover up and try to stay hydrated. Sun stroke is not fun and can have you out of commission for quite a while. Cavcraft 1
Mr Lobster Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Is there some law that has recently been enacted that decrees that all company car drivers who are in possession of a black VW Passat TDi have to drive like knobs? Evidently there has been which would explain why I had three of them (3!) tailgating me and weaving all over the fucking M62 through roadworks when I was passing other cars and couldn't get out of their way even if I had wanted to.
RedSparrow Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Fucking builders. The work they're doing seems to mainly involve drilling holes into the outer walls of my flat specifically.FUCK OFF.
Cavcraft Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 This weather can fuck off. 25 degrees at 11pm at night is bollocks.Surely you should have been so pissed as to have not noticed this? Talking of the heat, it was a massive, asthma inducing challenge to ride 3 miles up a mountain yesterday with eff all wind or noticeable breeze to cool you down.
purplebargeken Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Excessive heat....... fuck off now. Twats who just stand there like dopey bastards in the main swimming pool and then expect everyone to swim around them whilst they snog their stupid fat chavette girlfriends or chat to their stupid mate whilst doing everything apart from fucking swim.
cort16 Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Look at this load of bollocks trotted out by the AA. DO NOT PAY CASH WHEN BUYING CARS OR U WILL GET ROBBED BUMMED AND CATCH BIRD FLU Seriously if someone turned up and wanted to pay for a car I was selling with a bankers draft or bank transfer I'd tell them to jog on. Those payments methods have the potential to be more dodgy than cash.Queue the AA launching a private buyers escrow service next month no doubt. http://cardealermagazine.co.uk/publish/aa-warns-buyers-not-to-give-cash-for-cars/75034

RedSparrow Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 No it was locked. Probably because it was heading towards the usual result.

dollywobbler Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 OMG ALL MODERATURS R WANKAS. WHO VOTED FOR THEM? I DIDNT SO DEY IS ALL WORSE THAN HITLER! Anyway, after commenting on Cavette's very sensible thread locking, I shall get to a non-shite grump. Our village shop/Post Office is closing at the end of the month. This saddens me very much. The economics just sadly don't stack up. It ended up getting into a Catch 22 situation that they didn't stock stuff we wanted to buy, just Happy Shopper shite. With the economics going down the pan, they didn't want to risk getting better stuff in, so all we bought there was eggs and milk (the latter pretty much every day but how much profit on a bottle of milk?). I should be happy, because it means I now have to drive a car at least four miles to the nearest shop. I'm not though. Cavcraft 1
