Saabnut
My friend spotted a rare Thames E7 Truck with the V8 pilot engine in it for sale on the bay of evil. This one: Conversations with the seller followed (my friend is into his old commercials) and the seller asked if he was interested in "a mini pick up, mini van or Morris Van" Last night he called me to investigate, so today I headed to Elgin to view. The Thames is viable but a huge amount of work. It has been dry(ish) stored but was VERY rusty when put away. It is only a 1 ton truck. Outside was loads of stuff, about 15 minis including 4 or 5 pick ups, a couple of vans (1 in bits - literally as it was cut up) etc etc. The photos below show the better ones! Realistically they are all spares cars, apart from the Morris van and possibly the E83 inside. The other stuff was probably beyond economical repair when it was parked up 20+ years ago and the Scottish Coastal weather has not seen any improve. Nothing of interest for me or my mate, but will pass on details if anyone is interested in anything cpjitservices, theshadow, Datsuncog and 1 other

AnthonyG
People get stupid about Mk1 and/or commercial Minis and so I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple survive. The green pick-up shell, for example, doesn’t look completely fubar so someone may give it a home. No Floors/A pillars? No problem!
