Festival Unexceptional 2020?

I'm not really a regular visitor to this site but wondered if a group was planning a meet for this event on weekend of 25th July?  I'm hoping to get my tricycle in their concourse de'lordinaire. ?  I'm planning to go anyway even if I don't get in the 50 concourse cars.

I did go to this event about two years ago with my Anglia van when a few of us met together at the field of dreams. Was a scorching weekend and was great to meet, chat and have a few beers with like minded peeps.

Ah... one of the few very minor "mods" on this car.  They were cheap, £20 a pair from Tatton Park jumble last year. I think they're just Ring Automotive. Nothing fancy. I think Wipac crystal are very similar?  I just like the clarity of them compared to old sealed beams They are domed, not flat with polycarb lens.

I'm definitely planning to be there though I've not quite decided which car I'll be taking yet.

Note that the location is quite a ways from where it was the last couple of years, so there's not (as far as I'm aware) any plans for a contingent meeting en route via the FoD.

That Regal is tidy, the spotlamps are sure to lower the centre of gravity and improve cornering too. 

Now, I really ought to attend the Festival in the Datsun.

I'm planning on going but I have to work the Friday night and I don't know if I've got it off until the Friday afternoon... 

If I am off I'm bringing the Granada to the public parking this year.

I'll be there one way or t'other.  Hopefully I'll have something appropriate on the road at the time that I can drive up in - I could always take the Renault 6 again I suppose but I'd quite like to go in something different.

I'll be there, but I've not decided what I'll bring yet. Possibly one of the pugs or my povo spec W124. My own little posse will be there and I'm likely sticking with them, rather than go camping - but do say hi if you recognise me (or more likely, my car).

I had an e-mail saying it would be somewhere near Grantham. Not sure if the CX will have the head gasket replaced by then. Depends on funding......

Meanwhile my CX continues to run faultlessly (lack of boost notwithstanding) and hasn't used a drop of LHM in the 8 months I've had it.  I think you need to buy mine and stick its running gear in your bodyshell.

LOL yeah... but for 21E spec it should have 1 spot lamp and one fog lamp. But the fog lamp didn't work. So I decided to fit a second Lucas LR6 spot lamp to make the front look a bit cleaner. One of each lamp sort of spoiled the look a bit, but it was correct spec.

I'm going to camp somewhere near (or even in the grounds if it's possible). So long as there's a few beers to be had in the evenings.   Really enjoyed the FoD get together before.

I should be up for it. Was thinking about taking the Laurel as it hasn't been at FOTU for several years, but maybe it's the Camry's time to make its debut on the show circuit?.....
