Guessing the extra lights on the Insignia are because it’s sold as a Buick in the USA and tail lights aren’t allowed to be fitted to a moveable piece of bodywork.

Makes sense though, if you had a puncture on a dark road at night it would be bloody dangerous otherwise.

Bonnet closed or not? This is a new (well was until last year) Fiesta, and I've been noticing this. The bonnet line across the front is huge, looks like it's not fitted properly.

Those fins are indeed about airflow; As far as I know they are little spoilers to detatch the airflow  rather than clean air being sucked into the rear re-circulation bubbles. This reduces drag by a tiny precent. Most cars have straight lines up the sides that detach the airflow or the designers are not bothered about that tiny drag saving.

The Peugeot 505 is a bit of a pushme-pullyou car. Similar window angles and lines of bonnet and boot make it hard to tell one end from the other at a glance.

Yes Saab did alter the suspension, not the chassis though.

The white 99, being a later one, uses the suspension and brakes from the larger 900 model. 

I don't know though, if the difference is in the trailing arm, or just the mounting location on the axle for the trailing arm.

Obviously they are powered by very small black holes. The design approach came from that.

That looks like they’ve stacked two body shells on it by mistake, like when you get two paper cups stuck together at Costa.

The MG looks like one car has been hammered over a slightly bigger one. Not pretty but thankfully don’t see them often. Saw two today though ?.
