The 'just fits Manta and Chevette LSD' was an option on the HBLs (and never fitted to any auto unless you paid extra).

But yeah, apart from them being different, and the track being wider, and the pick up points being different, oh, and the final drive being too short for either of those other cars, and automatics not having LSDs, yeah, straight swap our kid.

'but it developed a fault last week so he bought a new car as he didnt have time to get it booked into a garage'

'im not a mechanic but i think a set of plugs or a coil pack will sort the problem

It's a shame the 'not a mechanic' who had a fault code reader that pinpointed what cylinder was causing the problem didn't go and buy a new plug and coil pack, instead of his mate buying a new car.

This is absolutely ace. I hope whoever buys it repairs the fairing and boxes and puts them back on.

Hasn't run for 41 years (if my maths are any good) but still turns over. Being a Honda I bet it's fire up without too much trouble.

Was half that on Fb marketplace before, not sure if someone is seriously trying to flip a Xedos 6 with rusty arches and no Mot or if the seller somehow believed he didn't price it high enough...

That is just so unremittingly barmy I can't say I dislike it; it even looks quite well done. One for the home made pickups thread too...

Unfortunately there's a lot more to it than that.

The problem really is that the creator is unremittingly barmy

Well now I'm intrigued.

He thinks that he is John DeLorean's illegitimate son and thinks that this somehow gives him the rights to the DeLorean brand, which I don't believe John had any right to use anyway, because it went with the business. It's honestly all quite sad - the guy seems like he's just not all there.
