Bike - Picture 1 of 9

Bike | eBay

It's not a CG (as vendor says) but a  CB125 These were quite a popular bike and still are. Number plate may appeal to a solvent fan or abuser, too.

 Bike - Picture 7 of 9

Needs to be nearer to £750 or so imho. *Edit: it also needs to be in the motors section, not the pushbike one.

Apologies if this has been shared before but this seems like a very lovely place to be and a hell of a lot of car for £3800

The FWD would give you confidence and grip in poor conditions, that’s what GM said anyway

£1750 In Devon, not been on the road in over 20 years.  Looks very clean.  Have to wonder what happened in 2004 for it to be sold and laid up.

Nothing much I would say, they'd be pretty worthless back then. I painted one for an ex mate and he'd only paid I think £1500 for his around that time, 2003/4 and this was in 2008 when we painted it  His was the 24v version as well which always seemed to command more money.

I know it was £1500 because when he wanted it painted, he kept harping on about how he could go to the cash point everyday and get £250 out for "2 or 3 days beforehand to pay you". When I mentioned the amount of work done at his request, new parts supplied because his bonnet was entirely made of filler by the washer jets, the fact I COLLECTED said bonnet from Coventry, refurbished his wheels etc that he was looking a lot more like paying £1500 he just laughed and said " I only paid £1500 for the car". Yeah, but that doesn't mean I have to max the respray out at a grand as the cars only worth that.

It looked amazing when done in gloss black, needed a few little bits of correction here and there but he fucking moaned about every single aspect of it, how from clips were broke, despite us not removing any interior trim, there was rough paint UNDER the bumper..... Which we didn't paint, the wiper arms we resprayed as they were NLA had started to rust.... Well yeah that happens when they're made pretty much of rust 🙄🙄🙄 etc etc etc.

In the end I told him if he wanted anymore work done that was chargeable as the car had been back 5 times at that point, often when I was out and him demanding work got done on it for free.

He never spoke to me ever again and you tried his hardest to say we did a bad job but actually his car brought us a fuck ton of work as it looked so good 🤭🤭🤭.

Why I'd never do work for friends ever again really.

Scrap. Total scrap. Even mint ones aren’t worth much and they’re a bastard to restore and get perfect. Seller is deranged.

IMG_3702.jpeg.037fe9942bbdb1946941add09488a298.jpegI’m way down that rabbit hole. But mine was £600 with a galv chassis and fewer plants living in it.

Car probably better put together and more spacious than the 'houses'* behind.

Sell the house and live in the car.

This almost looks like it ought to be wearing MG badges;

torsion spring front suspension? That's not very Honda!

Portugal btw.

I didn't know they were torsion springs on the front. My Acclaim certainly wasn't.

I can't remember the last time I saw a 200/Ballade.

No I'm not entierly sure it is either. I'm guessing based on the wishbone arrangement and the tube shape running back from the wishbone.

I agree! Can't see what else that bit would do, especially as it stretches back so far along the floor.

Did a search and found this, I can't be bothered to watch because American:

I watched it and yes it's a torsion tube we're looking at. I had no idea, but it was typical of Honda to have slightly bonkers chassis arrangements - they did that all the way through the 90s too.

Easy diagnosis. Fucking thing doesn't have a battery. How do they expect it to start without one?
