Like a lot of cars prices are coming down and down.

Thing is for a car like that - the demographic, who understand it and think it particularly nice, is shrinking.

For that money - there are so many recent eye-candy Benz about which mean more to 'Millennials' even if they want to own a car.

They are not sought after in Europe much as RHD either - whereas with some sports British cars RHD is not so much a problem.

Any Shiters know if I'd get a modern mountain bike into the boot of a 190E?

There are several on AT that look very appealing, but a 2.6E with understated exterior and headlight wipers is peak MB for me. It'd be funny to compaire it to the £18k CLA a lad at work has.

Stuck odo sounds annoying, but probably no big deal. Mot history had it at 112k in 2018, and given what it is mileage doesn't strike me as a big deal.

Mountain bikes all have quick release wheels. Whip them off and it fits in any ( proper) car.

I used to fit an MTB in the boot of a Nissan 200SX. The wheels and saddle/seat post had to come off but it all was quick release so no big deal. That was definitely a smaller boot than a 190.

Modern MTB with fancy suspension etc might be a bit larger so YMMV.

1982 Corvette 5. 7 litre Crossfire Injection imported from Las Vegas, auto, bright blue, owned by me for 32 years. Car is original other than replacement calipers and filters.

Car is a non runner and would need to be trailered away. It hasn't been started for a couple of years. Problem could be as simple as requiring a new fuel pump or a fuse but could be something else.

As per the photos, interior requires new carpet and exterior paint has gone.

Write an e-bay car advert whilst at the same time telling everyone reading that you know less than f*** all about cars 🤣

Not sure what's going on here, possibly dogging or a crime scene photo. Or both.

To be fair, for £2,500 no reserve, that looks like it would be a great little buy.

Can't quite believe I had to step in there.

Neither can I!  But I'm glad you did, that's lovely!

...Anyone local enough to it to send me some pics and impressions?  (And no, I don't mean Frank Spencer/Denis Healey/Roy Walker... they're good but they're not right!)
