I suspect because it's a kit, you could use other lights, I think they look too big on what otherwise is a lovely car.

It's things like the need for a new bespoke softop that would put me off.

Having lived with a car with a leaky soft top (worse in this case as a replacement isn't easily available) I would strongly agree! Nothing like growing mushrooms in the carpet to put you off a car.......

Two 2000 Mondeos for 150 quid each. Placeholder photo only and no number to contact the actual seller👌

Dean is a dodgy fucker.  He's selling oasis tickets for 180 quid each. Follow the wormhole to his Facebook posts. Which he joined in 2024.

This Mini has seen better days. The paint is peeling a bit, the interior is quite worn, it's 22 years old and I haven't looked after it very well.
That said, it has a current MOT, it runs and drives, starts well even after a few days sitting, and it has had a set of new tyres recently and a new battery last year.
The catalytic converter and part of the exhaust were replaced a couple of years ago.
One brake light (prob a bulb) and one headlight (not sure why) are not working, and I radwelded the radiator a years ago which has fixed the faster than average  disappearing coolant fluid thing that was happening for a while.
Only one key, there might be an issue with the passenger door lock not working but I have had no problems with theft.

The photos are quite romantic looking and make it look quite pretty, I don't know how that happened.

There you go, a brutally honest description.

Location is Bloxham, approx. 3 miles south of Banbury.

If I had more of the following:

* Time

* Energy

* Patience

* Workshop facilities

I'd quite like to buy that along with a straight, original donor car, restore it to original and post the popping tat back through his letterbox.

Off the road for 10 years, I've sent the seller a message telling him that he should send me a message if nobody else wants it, maybe it can get collected at the same time as the Xedos 6 if that's still around by then, too😂

This reminds of the guy who had an Xedos collection and would sometimes buy several of them on the same day ...

Fortunately the auction had ended before I saw your comment! :-)

Thanks for the thought, though!

An Iv*co that might actually be worth owning

Iveco Turbostar 190:48 V8 480hp Tractor Unit - Picture 1 of 24

Iveco Turbostar 190:48 V8 480hp Tractor Unit | eBay

I drove a 190-36 wagon and drag for about a year back in 1996. Great “working” wagon. I liked it very much, but the build quality was pretty shonky.

IMG_3282.jpeg.41066fd2ef7af21ecb45cf1d129fe4f7.jpeg

I liked it enough that in 2000 I bought a 190-38 V8 tractor unit from the company I was working for at the time…

…that cost £250 not £27.5K!

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of the tractor unit. Just imagine the one on eBay but very rusty. 🤣

I had grand plans for it, and was hoping to pick up a good secondhand cab whilst working in Italy, but luckily for me, a mate of mine had a need for a yard shunter and offered me double what I’d paid for it so my ownership was uncharacteristically short and profitable. 🤣🤣
