So I just won that Roadmaster on ebay. Naturally the owner is not the smartest type and already sold the car. Despite over 1000 reviews on ebay he didn't have a clue how to end the auction. I  won't be a dick about it but I don't think he is aware that winning the auction is a legally binding contract that a winning bidder can sue compensation for (not just the equivalent of the winning bid but actually the value of the car).

Had a similar story winning a Cadillac Fleetwood before. Why are most people owning these cars this way?

Holy Crap! That green Cavalier is already well-travelled to end up in Stroud. I used to notice it being daily-driven in Exeter around 3 maybe 4 years ago. It was very shiny although obviously resprayed. It still had those shit alloys on it back then. It also had a removable Playstation-style suede steering wheel. And I've just noticed the clocks are wrong. Early ones like this should have yellow needle gauges, not white, which came in on B reg.
