A Lacetti for £120, are you on your way yet? I get 'I avenue receipt' (though what happened to the original) but 'for a spare gif a week'? Spare gaff, perhaps?

I'd probably turn up to find it's a washing machine or something that's actually for sale, the description and photo don't make any sense of what's up for grabs 🤣

Is it or isn't it? This kinda matters! A few things smell a little fake.

I  think this was added to this section many moons ago. What with its fake everything. But still i could be wrong as there are more of these on the road than Rover P5s.

I'd say odds-on seller is un-vaxxed.

Very odd damage!  It's even got MOT to September.  I have a set of doors, and connaught green goes well with flame red doesn't it?!  Watchlisted...

That's what happens when you leave both doors open and forget to put the handbrake on

That's got the dynamic handling pack. Allegedly desirable but I'm not a fan.

It's probably not why you'd buy one is it I guess!

Wow, didn't know that was a thing, knew about the sub 1 litre escy's, but not that. My dad had a 1.3 MK4 at one point he said could barely go up hills, dread to think what this one's like.

Wiki wights about a 1100cc in the Mk2 section but not in the Mk3. Done because of taxes on higher capacities.

Love how these utterly obscure US imports survive in Europe when all of them vanished in the US 20 years ago, especially in this condition.

I love US porridge from that era, but boy do I hate those silly half vinyl roofs and rear quarterlights manufacturers often bolted on. I reckon with standard widgth windows and a metal roof, it'd look pretty good. Funny how it has manual windows.

Yep in Dutch market there were also 950 escorts, 1700 Granadas & 1300 transits!

And 1000 cc Kadetts, 1300 Mk III Capris, the terrible Astra G 1.2 Eco... Not the 1100 Cortina though, I guess that was only available in southern Europe . It is strange, our road tax isn't based on engine capacity (it is calculated by a combination of the fuel type and the weight of the car), so that cannot be the reason for buying a car with a tiny engine. I guess we just have lots of cheapskates who want the cheapest possible spec.😁
