If you're going to V8 one of those shirley it has to be a Tatra or not at all. I'm out.

Nissan Note, unremarkable but the quote for the MoT work is eye watering, best part of £1000 for a spring and two wheel bearings, the bearings were only an advisory too.

That is some proper old school car theft there - rear quarter broken and broken steering cowl. Check your Ring doorbell cameras for shifty looking 50 year olds.
