No shit-food, no screen-time, just a comfy ride home from school.

**Could be mistaken for a Toyota Century. (At 100 metres)

One of these cars is twice the price of the other. Which makes one of them a bargain.

I want to like the Dodge but dearly love the Toyota

Ford Sierra mk1 estate classic car 1982/83 collectors | eBay

£1,250 and doesn't even have wheels.

If only we knew someone who'd sell you a much nicer later one. If only.

Christ that's rough.

900 isn't far off the mark, but considering shagged paint, need for a new rear bumper, and suspicious messy black sill ends that suggest it could have been bodged or welded badly, I'd think that's more a £650 example.
However - importantly, it appears to be a manual.

If it was an auto it'd probably get bought to break for parts - hell, it might anyway.

The seller clearly has no idea how to eBay as they've added a whole another listing for this car, purely to add four photos, one of the rear bumper, two of the sills, and one of the driver's seat bolster.

This confirms my suspicions that it's fucked - it needs sills, tyres, upholstery, a rear bumper and trim panel, and probably a cambelt. And what's the betting it HGFs too...

However it also confirms it's a manual, which is pretty much its only saving grace.

The price has changed too, it's gone from 900 BIN/offers, to 700 auction/1000BIN.

700 is top dollar for it as it needs a fuckton spending on it to make it good.
The MOTs being clean as they are is absurd.

Nostalgia posting. How are the fallen greats getting along?

When I was small and all this was fields the top dog fastest bike forever was the zzr11, which would do a genuine 170mph with its ram air and slippery* aerodynamics.

This is the cheapest considerable one on the bay. It’s A bit chavved but seems loved and fundamentally sound. Turn up in jeans with a lid and Ride home faster than a premium German saloon can muster on its best day. The top end rush on one of these combined with absolutely mental airbox / induction noise is really something special.

£2750 bin  / 170mph = 16 £ per mph.

The superblackbird was hard to beat, chiefly because it’s genuinely brilliant and epically fast, so close yet so far from the magic 200mph

enter the hayabusa - named after a blackbird eating bird of prey.

very marmite looks and styling but who gives a shit when you have the first faster than 200mph bike who cares. Hugely fun to ride, akin to sitting on top of a controllable volcano. You just decide where you want the speedo to point and it just rotates there, boom. Will hit limiter in top gear, 212 apparently (from memory)

Amusingly they take a turbo so well it’s an off the shelf bolt on kit. 450bhp achievable for the brave

£3850 / 212 = £18 per mph.

Could very well be absolute bollocks, but a mate of mine back in the day had a friend who sent his ZZR 1100 to be tuned. The fella supposedly told him if it didn't do 200mph he could have his money back, and allegedly it did.

But although  Suzuki got 200mph first they didn’t get the fastest bike. Kawasaki was also desperate to win the 200 race.

and they did it, and if the road was long enough it was faster than the busa. Game on.

Full power unmolested version looking like £1500. No one else is likely to bid in anger, experience tells me that they are hard to sell in the summer. Hop on and make over there over here

£1650 / 214mph = £13 per mph.

Then the fun police got involved and everyone stopped playing before it was all banned. The generation 2 bikes were slower, third gen slower again, get an early one. Everything else had to pootle about at a paultry 181mph.

this agile little slipper came on the scene with the amusing party trick of 0mph to the 181mph limiter and back to zero in 30 seconds. (Easiest sale ever for that salesman!)

probably old hat now.

£2500 bin

Presumably put in a barn to hide the owners embarrassment.
