I remember when the scouts were all about helping old ladies across the road, going camping with a load of turbo nonces single men in their 40s, making bonfires and tying knots. Now, it would appear, you have to eat a tortoise as one of your challenges.

Yeah, I know for a fact that leaks like a sieve, that's why it's kept under a tarp. The gutters will be rotten and letting water in and the screen seal won't be doing it's job. It's a shame as otherwise they're fairly tough old things and easy to work on.

A £2.5K engine rebuild. Somewhere someone must have loved that car...

What I'm wondering more about is how they ruined it in the first place. Ran it without oil for 100 miles?

Trying to place those wheels on the Stanza, are they Mazda RX7 or Alfa 155?

I reckon Rover 25!

Defo 'FB' RX-7, when it went over to 4 x 114.3mm rather than 4 x 110.

UK market had 2 Dr MK4 Corrina's in 1.3 ohv base & L the Mk5 was like with some 1.6 ohv autos avl under the motobility scheme.

That's a Mk5 fitted with escort/Capri deep dish sports rims instead of the std slotted steel rims.

The rarest one is the exworks 3.0 V6 triple carbed rally car NHK 244 V my moby dick!

Fucking amazing. I'd happily buy it, get booted out by the missus and just live in it with all the sweet pussy that I'll inevitability be surrounded by owning that.

Its fantastic.

That has actually featured on this thread before, but not for about 5 years.
My favourite bit was that there’s a complete Wolseley Hornet bonnet underneath the back end as some sort of Venturi/ valance .

The dude who does the 'dad voice' from Regular Car Reviews is selling his Ford Falcon.

Has a 5 litre v8 dyno'd at 240bhp.

That's lovely, and the advert is exquisitely detailed. Front end installation is neat too, with the shock towers deleted but blanking plates are bolt in and reversible, and I love the sleeper four door thing it has going too. Only thing I don't particularly like is the low profile tyres, but I certainly wouldn't kick it out of bed. Awesome car!!

Indeed, not seen a flat front in years. Early D-reg too. Someone wiser than me will no doubt know for sure, but I think* the earliest UK 9000's were on a C-reg?

Yep.  I had a C-reg Turbo about 20 years ago.  Still remains one of the fastest cars I've ever owned.

You sure it wasn't a different one. They were all done up like this around 2015.  ;)

Well remembered though.
