? not everything working then. Those cills look a bit interesting I myself would want to have a good look there before a bid.

Apparently it has been sold to the banger boys! :(

What a massive waste

Agreed. It looks too good to race, and Maxi's don't "bang" well.

And if you know what the future is really going to be like - Douglas knew....

Liked for the Douglas Adams link, not for that purple-dildo-filmcar thing.

Anyway, silly doors on fancy cars - ? why? What is the point? Where does this idiotic meme come from?

Appears to be for sale in Smurf village. Some wordsmithery obscures that it has no MoT. It missed the Boris Bonus by 10 days.

I know we’ve had a few Wartburgs recently, but I don’t think we’ve had this one yet.

My Grandad, God rest his soul, used to have an estate one of these in the 70’s in canary yellow. He’d “fixed” the brakes himself that well that he used to have to put his arm out across the front seat passenger, whenever he pulled up at the lights! In a sort of “brace!..... brace!....”  crashing Aircraft instruction !!!

This is the future chaps - early Chinese bikes.

Back in 2000 ( 20 years ago) the lads at San Yong Motors were cracking these CG125 clones out. Mostly made out of cheese, unobtanium and Wrigglys Juicyfruit foil wrappers most of them ended up in the scrappers before their third birthday. A few however survived.

In another 20 years when the Japs  and Indians are knocking out expensive retro or high end bikes and everyone is riding around on Chinese 脆皮鸭125 bikes because they are reasonably priced and reliable with decent dealer support it will be these early bikes that suddenly sky rocket in price due to scarcity, nostalgia and the show circuit scene.

Remember, you heard it here first.

@djoptix to the yellow phone. That's @djoptix to the yellow phone. Ithagyau.

:)

I did see that last night - looks like it's sold now.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that one before a few years ago. Don't think yellow was ever a factory colour for BXs but I like it a lot!

That yellow BX is fantastic, the colour really suits it.  Must be a mega late one too.

I met the guy who did that, he had it all done up for his kids/grandkids. I think he said he had a yellow BX back in the day too, which was also his own creation.
