I've been looking at this S500 2 years ago. Back then it has been standing on the driveway for years, had plenty of rust all around and underneath, an engine that misfired badly and enough wear on the buttons inside that the mileage back then (cant remember how many miles) was highly questionable. I expected it to get broken and the rest junked.

 

Now it can be yours, through Ebay, with none of the issues mentioned. It did gain an ugly new grille and set of wheels that don't fit the car though! Also of course its not an AMG, not a single thing on this car is.

Kilcoole is around 25 minutes away from me; its even on a Dublin Bus route, just off the N11

 

Chrome arches aside, it looks lovely
