you could get a Vi (the same but without the orange grille, red leather and LSD) for a fraction of the price.

 

Oh I know that, but when did you last see a Vi for sale - let alone with <40k

Gosh, that's BXI1880 behind those godawful rims - was parked up for yonks at a small garage in Holywood c.2014. Glad to see it's still in existence, will hoke out a pic later.

 

ETA: same car three and a bit years ago. Nicely camouflaged against a shipping container; it did have a For Sale sign on it at one point, too.

On here, about 3 months ago, when I was trying to sell mine. ;)

 

Admittedly it had a lot more than 40k on it, and was a bit broken.

That conversion looks quite neat but if there’s one thing a Discovery doesn’t need it’s another set of windows in the roof to leak through.

 

Also, I am still rolling around on the floor at
