Ok, its not ebay but not worth starting a new thread for...one for Lord Sterling right at the end of my road at a little used car dealer: (excuse horrible rainy mobile pics)

Looks like its been there a while and its squashed into the corner of his yard more or less out of sight so I guess the seller might shift a bit on the £995 price tag. 120k, one owner from new (apparently) and pretty straight and tidy. Not my cup of tea normally but I rather like it, the interior looks mint too.

That Merc's suspiciously cheap isn't it? :?

I know they're not the most sought after cars but ANY CLK with no major issues and a year's ticket is a grand, never mind the V8. Cheap car if it's genuine.

I think I've just agreed to buy this:

I don't need it and have no storage space whatsoever.....

OOH but how could you resist? Looks a real nice car, well done :D

Excellent work there LS, looks well worth saving. It's the spitting image of my dad's old one, except his was an E plate manual 820i.

Looks like a Brum reg, possibly an ex Longbridge company car or a press car?

Aye, nice one Lord S - excellent find/save, a really early one too.

At £2k for that Carlton I'd expect it to be sat on the Doctor's gravel, not a Sarf Lahndan forecourt, even if it is a GL. Headlamp wipers for the win though. I'd rather have the brown Accord, myself.

Pick of the Pops for me tonight is that Renner 19. I'd ditch the Williams decals, they look a bit wanky, but otherwise it looks mint; I could even live with the gold wheels. Worth the £1100 BIN I reckon. Bonus shite points for being a 'Chamade' too.

Thi8s looks flipping brilliant, 405 GTX with the 1905 injected all-alloy engine (not the wanky 1.8 as the seller seems to think), automatic box, one owner and even got its centre caps still! Only £230 with a quarter of an hour to go.

1 owner 305 GRD Estate, no price so no doubt the seller thinks it's worth a mint.

He's put a price on now, must have had loads of folk asking the same question, amazing eh? Anyway he wants 'best offer over £500'. sounds abit hopeful to me, interior is nice but its got 1/4 of a million miles and no MOT!

He won't be shifting that very quickly then.

I love this, the fact it's a Essex plate and comes from very close to where I grew up makes it even better, Looks bloody tidy too for it's age except for the black sills. Although i think £2500 might be a bit salty, I'd pay £1500 for it though.

Thanks ShedVan, R9UKE, AD and Skizzer. I spoke to the seller today, I know of the anyway, he is a mate and fellow Rover 800 nut. I layed my card on the table regarding storage problems, my Sterling detonating its engine and the free Glaasge KV6 coming down here. So I won't be able to lay my grubby germans on it for a couple of months whilst I try and sort all these cars out. I shall add updates to my Rover Sterling thread when (or rather if) the new Sterling gets here.

Its gonna be a busy few months with these Rovers....

I once drove a 305 diesel van with a quarter of a mil' on it. Engine was absolutely fine, but the windscreen was bi-focal and the steering rack went 'clonk' every time you got to straight-ahead. Also, the rear suspension was shagged. Still liked it though...

That Audi's a cracker, they really did wear well these things.

'bumber'

:evil::evil::evil::twisted::twisted::twisted::roll::roll:

F*ck me that's annoying it's bumper ffs!

Hopelessly over priced but a real shame as I would 100% roll in that just for the fun of it.

I used to see this around and about. Save it to preserve the early type of tailgate.

If he gets 'over £500' for that I'll stick a picture of Hayley Williams to the bisexual traffic lights on Dunnings Bridge Road and rut the fuckers till they fall over.

Must get started on mine soon. That said, I won't be doing the build-up on here, 'cos none of you lot would approve.
