Having just packed the books from a small bookcase into boxes before decorators arrive I can totally understand why it would be so slow. I couldn't even lift the boxes.

God knows why, but these seem to fetch good money. Just the thing for the vertically challenged to spend a wet weekend in the Lake District

It was a comparatively economical way to get a camper at the time, I think.

Guy where I grew up had one of those in calf-scour brown colour. My dad had us believing that the roof  was actually a pop-off boat so you could setup camp by a loch, get your wee boat and paddle out to catch a trout/salmon for tea.
Imagine our sense of betrayal, a few years on, to see one in action, in the flesh.
Of course, dad denied ever making the original claim at that point.
