Bro's wife had one which I borrowed for a blast to Cornwall back in 1999, it went well enough, made an ok noise, but didn't really feel quick, or particularly exciting. Missing that little "extra" fizz if you know what I mean.

Great bikes - imho the best of the 500s of the era unless you fancied Suzuki's air cooled offering, easily this is the best looking.

Rare now due to being workhorse bikes and this looks a steal being visibly corrosion-free, and has an original exhaust which seem to give a tiny more power and a much nicer sound than aftermarket replacements.

Anyone with a van or garage fancy picking it up for me? :)

If it's that much of a bargain, hire a van and go get it! I'll make you a cuppa if you're passing Southam.
