Unregistered 1978 AMF Harley Davison ss250 | eBay

These are a 2 stroke.  Slow, rattly, gutless, noisy,  smokey, ancient and embarrassing. Unlike most other Harley Davidsons, which are slow, rattly, gutless, noisy,  smokey, ancient and embarrassing. But 4 stroke.

I thought they looked realy cool when I was 15, especially in the metallic blue

I once was given a Dragon green Golf TDi mk3.  Just so awful…

Posted

My last one was £169 near Swindon. A diesel CL estate in dragon green.

It was looser than a wizard's sleeve. I called the owner up 15 mins after purchase and asked him if reverse worked as I couldn't engage it. He said of course, I said thanks and hung up. In my 3 months of ownership I never once managed to engage reverse

I know AutoShite has turned into a sort of woke fest, but FFS, let's get back to the old days...

'Le Wokisme*' as it's a Renner!

* yes that's what the French call it...

OK, 100 year old Cadillac.  ( You can pay this much for a new Corsa). https://www.prewarcar.com/310192-1923-cadillac-v8-town-sedan-v61#group-10

Those door handles are ideal to tie yourself onto whilst standing on the running boards and wielding a sub machine gun whilst passing through your favourite local 'area'.

If only I had,

 the money,

or

a sub machine gun (my 'mate' is only allowed slightly smaller weapons, possibly because of his GBH conviction).

I've slept in the shed before now, normally after some light* refreshment.....

Moi aussi. Not necessarily my own tho. One on wheels could be awkward :)

Hope fully this is a sign these are creeping into AutoShite money now.

2008 MERCEDES SLK 350 (mot failure ) | eBay

It's the 3.5, too, which is a fantastic motor, imho. You could flog those horrific wheels to pay towards the subframe replacement.

I'd enquire at a Mercedes dealership - I feel like I heard they were replacing rear subframes on these for free as they agreed that the quality was sub-par
