I checked on the availability of spares for the one I looked at, just out of interest. Spares for Sanglas 500's made post 1981 seem to be more available than for pre 1981 bikes.

Identical to one of the 3 I wrote off. Although mine had 14 inch alloys on it and the door trim carefully removed..

Mine was a 1.4 8v mpi with 82 to. I wonder it that's an spi or mpi.
