SC430s aren't the sexiest, sportiest thing, but lose the vinyl and scoop on the bonnet, get the chrome painted to match the body and you've got a quirky, reliable little car with a V8 that's going to lose you very little over the summer.

At least it's a proper colour.

I had one identical to that about 10 years ago.  It was a competent if rather uninspiring car, although I remember the steering being particularly heavy.

Edit: Not quite identical, mine was a 1.5.

Steering wheel and gear lever look modified to me and a UK model wouldn't have that numberplate!

Glorious, but horribly overpriced!  Far too nice for my needs.  Doesn't stop me lusting over it though.

Rare but not extinct — my old one still exists (a 2000 Turbo ie but not an HF, can’t remember the differences offhand).

No, they didn’t do 4wd on the Dedra. All were FWD and ate front tyres for breakfast.

That one looks rather tasty, and not too badly priced given what Delta HF Turbos go for now.

 

Edit: Wikipedia disagrees, apparently there was a 4wd Integrale version. But I don’t believe we got it in the UK, I think they’d stopped importing them by that time.

I paid 50 quid for a Delta HF Turbo back in 2001.  It was a bit* rusty but still went like the absolute clappers.
