this metro is been sold by somewhere you can get low mileages arranged and MOT's done by phone.

cos this sure has hell has not been to a testing station with the suspension sat on its bumpstops.

the inability of the vendor to read the "surf" stickers on this car (the sun roof and coachline sticker make it a surf) and list it as a city also does not inspire confidence.

shame cos the car itself looks in good order, save been in desperate need of a suspension overhaul/regass and something better than 30 year old metric tyres!!

Some of my cousins ran one of these during their student days in the 1980s - "ACD 824K". Decent oul thing, 110mph not a problem, but 16mpg at best.

I had a W116 S350 v8 10 years ago and still haven't recovered from the fuel consumption

I've even spotted this car out and about a couple of times:

A 1.8 Laser apparently.

Oh - and how could I not post this. My parents had a silver one briefly in the mid 1980s. They traded it in for a Horizon 1.3 as it was too expensive to run.

If it doesn't work out talk to me, might be looking to rehome mine but I can't face putting it up for sale in the open and have it go for cat removal and export.

Strange, the weblink goes to a Mk.2 Crayford Cortina ragtop.

Looks like withdrawn from sale, or sold elsewhere now.

It was very windy here in East Sussex last night, I'm guessing there's now lumps of cream-coloured filler everywhere.
