Something funny going on there. It's been for sale in Bournemouth for a while at £2500, on the green site and ebay. Last time I saw it the listing had been altered to say CAR NOW NOT FOR SALE AS HAD SUFFERED MAJOR ENGINE FAILURE. WILL NEED NEW ENGINE OR REBUILD, or words to that effect. Either this guy definitely didn't just do '140 miles with no problems' and is telling fibs, or the previous owner didn't want to pay the ebay fees and cancelled the sale for spurious reasons when he got a cash offer.

Either way, I'd buy with caution, and bear in mind the current vendor probably bought it for £2k or less last week

It's also had some pretty crude welding done- I got some pics of it when it appeared a while back, happy to send them on to any interested parties.

The way his advert says "as with everything i have its always up for sale at the right price" makes me think he keeps taking the ad down every time someone wins the auction and it doesn't make a figure he's happy with. Would be nice if he just put a reserve price on it. 🙃

Maybe the joke should go round the bidding community so that each time the car is relisted, the winning bid gets steadily lower!
