Don't get me wrong, I am a bit of a diesel freak (well not for much longer), but that sounds hideous.

Interesting.

This might actually be the same car, in a previous ownership....

Seems these RHD cars - and there were quite a few of them - came in via the importer's premises in Chiswick..... Googling suggests they were on the Great West Road at Chiswick Flyover, so possibly not far from where Fiat had a premises with a massive concrete clock standing outside.
