If I had the money Id buy this just to see what they are like.

I've been considering these since they were first " approved used".

They are very small inside. But I really like the style. Based upon the Mk1  SLK, so presumably the SLK's more sensible wheels would fit. More sidewall please!

Most Importantly, now they are so cheap, the internet says that the V8 that is related to the fitted V6 is close to a bolt in swap.

I think they were the last car built by Karmann, famous for building cars that rusted like salty Fiats.

The owner of this car made something completely unique and in the process spent over £15000.

I'm going to have a space on my drive tomorrow, so it's time for some shopping.  I want something interesting and at least vaguely usable as a means of transportation..  Found this:

Rollo Croftmaster, just the thing for a first date with a lady.  Unfortunately way over budget, good name though.

Currently £88, MOT history looks good although no ticket at the mo.  I had one of these new but ticked the options for sunroof, 5-speed box and radio 'cos YUPPIE.

Not sure if everyone will be able to open the link as over on the Rover 75 forum.

Rover 75 1.8T one owner from new 10,000 miles , £1750.

Looks immaculate and they are in Solihull (one of the more posh areas of Birmingham)

To make matters worse, they are going down to one car so trading the other into the scrappage scheme.

The other car in the pics is a Silver City Rover, (not sure if this is the one destined for the scrappage scheme, but only other car in the pics)

street.thumb.jpg.541637b43ba562a5b0a9a3b1fad693e6.jpg

Which according to the last MOT has 6,398 miles.

Got no room for any extra cars, but these both need to be saved. (I'd happily donate the CLK sitting in my garage to the scrappage scheme to save the CR)

If this is the photo you mean, that's not a Streetwise to the left of the 75 but a ShittyRover.

Correct, my error,

Got my Rover's mixed up.

I'll correct the original post so not to confuse.

Whatever her name, maybe try a cheaper lady?

Obviously not shite money, but ideal for keeping your Invacar company and massively more interesting than any Cobra.

supposedly the 300ME's are Model 70 blue under the paintwork :) although sadly I have not been able to confirm that yet!
