Shitting in the shallow end. *Arse friends electric*

With the roffle Insight drifting off gently into scotland, it was time to source a new steed.  I remember when @davehedgehog31 picked this car up, I thought it was an absolute winner and decided if he ever chose to sell it, I'd dash straight to the top of the queue.

I'd sold a car and now I needed a car. The stars moved a bit in the sky. The fantastic @sdkrc had to come from Scotland to pick up the Insight. He happened to reside not too far from this absolute gem.

The starts shifted slightly again.

I asked @davehedgehog31 if he would consider selling it (not for the first time) and after some discussion, he was kind enough to pick a number that was conducive to all.

All the stars aligned an a brace of trumpets played an angelic fanfare.

I said woohoo.

Departing Scotland^

Brave @sdkrc travelled seven hours through the night round trip to swap the cars round.

Then I did a celebration breakdance which ended in this exact stance.

I took it out for a spin today and I absolutely love it.

It has so much character, and it's imperfections dig under your skin like little hooks of character that just make be love it more. It's right under my skin.

I mean look at it.

Always keep one period Peugeot rubber mat in stock just in case you happen to buy an old pug. That's my motto.

Yeah, it's a credit to @davehedgehog31 , it really is. He's done all the the things that improve a good 205 and it drives like a dream.

Why does it have the world's smallest wheels.

13x5.5 I think. About the same size as a Panda ish. Maybe the epic arch gaps make them look smaller.

That gives me the fizz.

It shouldn't... but it does.

It should man. It's a perfectly natural feeling for a lad your age to have.

Christ I read Inca above and my head auto-corrected it to another type of vehicle. Devisive on here, which uses those letters and also blue in colour...

Can confirm that Peugeot Bermuda Blue is spectacularly rewarding to clean, should you ever need to do so.cf575531e2e5b7aad966a298792a6947.jpg

Poundland ratchet straps make excellent temporary* battery clamps.

I don't know why but this car, the tiny steel wheels, the colour, the dent and the eager wee exhaust pipe, it all makes me grin like mad. What a great little thing. Well bought.

Our old mk3 cavalier went through 6 mots like that.  All at the same place. Only once did he be arsed to put it down in the comments.  His advisories were always verbal too.  Oh how I miss Gordon.

I guess I read it the same way, I read 'St-Inca' and thought 'St' was an abbreviation of SEAT.
