Borg-Warner Type 65 Auto transmission from a Triumph Stag. Aquired from Freecycle of all places to avoid it being scrapped.

 

Apparently overhauled 2 years prior to being removed from the Stag - which was subsequently converted to manual. I've cleaned it externally, it shifts through all 5 ratios and the output seems to adjust accordingly. Trans fluid is bright red, which would indicate that it hasn't been used much since being changed?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can deliver within a reasonable radius of South or East Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey, SW london or potentially A12/Suffolk if anyone wants it. seems a shame for it to be fragged.

No problem, its safe and sound in my garage for the foreseeable future. it'll fit a whole range of BL and probably other period tin too if that helps

Just returned the fourth incorrect (but different!) one from various internet sources (the last one was actually for the right car at least...but is a master cylinder). Really want to get this thing to the MOT station soon but am rapidly running out of patience with it.
