Sadly I couldn’t make this weekend work in the end because of work.

I’ve wanted a 305 estate since Shitpeas did that epic run in one a few years ago. Much jealousy.

The 305 hoovered up well. Johnk now has to hide from the locals tonight though!

Feck me, I think he's assimilated with the locals with that one!

Epic. I want to come next year. Are caravans welcome?

Looks like room for one there. I suppose it depends on where it is held.

Looking forward to seeing how he's going to drive two cars home simultaneously.

I refer you to Shitefest 2016 where I drove the Cortina to Buckinghamshire, won the Samara in a Roffle and had to get both home with an A Frame...

Fortunately this year 3 of us came in the Proton so we have a surplus of drivers.

Williton, home of the Bakelite  museum,

No longer, it's closed and relocating. but what an awesome place it was!

Enjoying the Shitefest19 vicariously through this thread, maybe next year I'll actually be able to attend in real life.

Looks like you're all having a good time, wish I was there instead of lurgied up in bed.

That 305 estate is both epic and grim at the same time. Well bought JohnK!

Not long got back home! Great meeting you all, wish I could have stopped longer and unfortunately didn't get a chance to speak to everyone. Of course a big thanks to Kirton for organising it all.

Massive thanks to Mr6C for letting me have a spin in his DS. I've driven a lot of cars in my time but that DS was the hardest I've ever driven by far. Left hooker, super sensitive powerful brakes, column steering change, foot parking brake and unusual seating position. Hopefully I didn't scare Mr6C too much! :D

(Btw, I checked the oil level twice on the way back and it hadn't changed!)

Good to see that the weather has stayed fine. It looks like everyone has been having an enjoyable weekend, I'll have to make the effort to get there next year.

Good to see everyone having a good time and well played on the Poojoo buyage JonhK, you're a brave/bonkers man to say the least.

Hopefully one day I'll be able to make it to a SF and actually meet a few more members.

We landed in Plymouth at 7, but sadly came all the way past and are now in the Midlands.  Tent is ruined from high winds and rain on the coast in Brittany, so we're in a hotel on the closed side of the M6.  That was interesting..

Much wantage on that 305.
