What a stupid system, valid credit card details should be adequate for this. That R17 is winking at me.

seemed to not effect the prices. Trabant went for 1500 and the R14 for 2750

The auction is live on you tube this weekend.

Normal insanity prices.

1999 Polish Fiat 126. £4k!

I just saw an Alfa make double its estimate at £19K

What crack pipe smoker just bought a Seat Marbella?

Maybe it was someone who couldn't find a Panda?

Yep, will be there tomorrow but not Sunday.  One car I'm interested in bidding on and a couple of 'reserves'.

Yes, I was there today and seeing as I got a bidder number will be there again tomorrow. Used to be a fiver deposit for a bidder number......Not now, bloody hell how much ?  The scruffy bloke with the beard and Alice band in his hair arsed about with the card machine. I told him four times (my mate said it was five) that he'd got the till roll in the wrong way round. As he tore their receipt off the roll came out of the machine. Then it wouldn't print my receipt. Really gives confidence that you can get your deposit back.

I was likewise concerned about their ability to sort out the deposit refund so decided the solution was to buy something!  Namely this, probably the cheapest lot to go through today...

slightly off topic but I went to Manor Park Classic auctions the other week, having been to Anglia a few times in the past, and was surprised to see there was no fee to attend the auction, no fee to register to bid and no deposit required.

Cinquecento looks nice.  I saw the yellow Siecento sporting went for a reasonable price too.  Was surprised to see that flipping bangers XM go for £2700 too

I don’t trust myself to not come home with something I don’t need… 106 GTI.

Couple of nice looking Mk1 Mondeos and a Bedford Rascal camper.

I may go on Sunday.  Couple of things I'm half interested in, but worried I'll do the same as last time and come home with something completely different!

It's not hard, given that you need to pay a £500 deposit just to get a bidder number.

Then again, you will have £4,650 burning a hole in your pocket...

Edit: or not...  :(
