kinda catch 22 aint it, since that would be admitting breaking the law, unless you have a private bit of land long enough for one of us to try on? :)

speaking of Catch 22, how is the seller expecting to sell it if they wont accept messages? I did not even know you could block all messages like this!

although some fitting comments on FB regarding it, regarding top speed :)

he's selling a few other items, could you maybe try and contact him on one of those in case its a glitch with this listing only?

das a good idea! but sadly still wont let me message! suppose I could always try and buy it, then the seller would have to make contact/allow me to make contact LOL

I don't think the Rozzers will be breaking down your door if you admit to driving 12 mph over the speed limit, if it really bothers you just say you did it on the Autobahn .

Oh and I have had that exact same Bluetooth speaker for a few years and it has survived some abuse, Anker seem to make fairly decent stuff for a reasonable price.

Perfect defence mate:-

"82mph eh?
Tell me officer, any idea how fucking stupid you're going to look in court?"

if anyone finds that 10 pence coin around there lemme know, it slid off the dashboard and out a gap in the door during some enthusiastic cornering....

This stuff is useful to stop that kind of thing happening...

I bought one of those Anker speakers, good for the money but not a patch on similar size Bose for 10x the price! As for the 82mph, my car could get you well over 100mph on the trailer if you are brave enough to sit in REV. 🏁

Would probably be safer if he was in rev, he would need to hold onto all the body panels as they started to fly off 😂

I bought a load from Aldi years ago. It’s great and my mum uses it to stop wedding and other cakes sliding around the boot too.

An analogue film photo of REV taken on a 90's point and shoot Canon Sureshot Mini (I had one new 'in period') from my visit to Dez back in November.

That's a cracking shot. BIL recently recommissioned his mum's 1950s box brownie camera after we discovered it when clearing her house. It's produced some amazing photos of us on the coast here in Cornwall. I can see why some folk are into old school photographic gear.

Shame the red SD1 isn't parked there anymore - then you'd just need RobT to trundle up in his Metro and you could recreate that photo nearly perfectly, just with a bit more beige.

Very Awesome! it gives me some idea what a period photo of REV might look like :) I have to ask out of curiosity what film stock did you use? :)

If Wikipedia is to be trusted, it’s designed by Yuri Vereschagin who took inspiration from kei cars of the time.

Thanks, I post all my photos on IG. But two points, I'm not interested in growing a 'following' and I also spout a load of annoying pseudo-intellectual bullcrap to try and look clever and shit over there (you have been warned!).

Oh that messes with my brain because of how many bits I recognise but slightly out of context...that really looks like half a Samara engine too, which is a new one on me.

I kinda want to have a shot of one now.

From the 1984 title Dirty Movie, featuring the late, great Rik Mayall and the great but very much still alive Ade Edmondson.Screenshot_20250119_150125_TikTok.thumb.jpg.214f3b9119bf3adbe9927e73b23ef072.jpg

Not an Invacar but similar size - I reckon Dez should fit one of these horn kits to REV!

(Also, isn't one of those guys the one who did "What Does The Fox Say?")

Another Invacar on YT spot. Together with an Allegro in the same colour.

London Transport bus route 140

There are a lot of vehicles that are just not on our roads

So here is the vid from the beginning.

Nice green Renault 6 at 2:33, with a bonus Moskvitch for company.

its been a few days, (we had a wet-room/shower-with-seat thing installed), but today was time for another trip out in REV :)

IMG_1764.thumb.jpeg.4dceb864d5ae062c7fcca3e1142e17e5.jpeg

despite sitting for over a week she started up without issue, today would be an interesting trip, as I was driving into the night and into the weather!

IMG_1773.thumb.jpeg.1923bfd884d4ef632c9dd28802f10431.jpeg

first stop!

IMG_1774.thumb.jpeg.a531134ef2fd88f0867f8b19b5978081.jpeg

another trip into Central London!

IMG_1777.thumb.jpeg.ba6ed6ecc5ee2bccf43d0dbe9f5e6e40.jpeg

second stop! and then home! with a few more miles covered :) only a couple miles now  to 200 miles from when I first got her!

IMG_1779.thumb.jpeg.58cc00136ae144138b7ef5b8719f5fa6.jpeg

pleased to report REV performed once again without fault despite the weather! ( @dollywobbler's trick of keeping a spare wiper blade in the car to clean the outside of the side windows etc works really well!)

IMG_1780.thumb.jpeg.f22cd1e136338f6084d6ddffe92a9c1c.jpeg

and I am also pleased with myself, just in general since I got her back things have been fairly easy going, in in terms stress/worry/nervousness  levels while driving, not going to say Its completely plain sailing, but it is very much a case of I have not had to think too much about the actual driving aspect of things, leaving me free to focus about whats on the road ahead of me etc, which I am quite pleased about, as i know during my driving lessons I was always very nervous/stressed about everything, but I know that when I first got REV back in 2021, all that melted away, and thankfully it has continued to do so this second time round :)

I do find on dual carriage ways I still get a bit nervous/stressed, (not majorly so, but I do feel the increased muscle tenseness/back pain from it afterwards) its not so much the driving at speed aspect of things, (although you are aware things do happen much quicker at those speeds) but actually the keeping to the speed limit side of things, when your a dual carriage way, its much easier to pickup speed naturally, and I dont want to get points on my licence thank you! LOL, in some regards I am actually looking forward to my first motorway drives in that hopefully there wont be so many 40Mph then 50Mph then 40Mph then 50Mph speed limit changed to worry about! (but I do have other worries there, like if you miss your exit/junction, you cant exactly do a quick U turn to get back on track! but I digress)
