Welcome in you newly approved folk. Dont forget rule 7.

No piddling in the shallow end.

Cunting is actively encouraged - there's an annual competition don't you know ?

Whoa! What's the prize?!

My particular cunting talent appears to be the use of the word cunt at the most inappropriate times, im that good* it's almost a form of art. The art of cunting, by Tomtation.

I don´t know what to say, as I am very bad introducing myself. Got my approval some days ago, at the 2nd time. I live in Spain, and I like cars very much, especially the French ones, but I also have a soft spot for classic British cars, and Rovers, that´s for sure.

So you wait for a bus country to come  along and the two Spian's turn up! I am not Spanish So I cannot really say Spaniards.

It really shouldn't be.

Hi all. got around to posting this morning after a fair while lurking. Only then discovered that apparently I had an account registered in 2008 that looks like it's never been touched  :?

Anyway back then I'd have been rolling around Guildford in a fairly mouldy but genuine 40k mile Cavalier Mk2 while I was at Uni there. Made my money back on that 2 years after buying it, and spent the proceeds on my Scirocco GTII which has spent the last 5 years in my grandfathers garage having popped a head gasket on the way back from a trip to France & Germany. Apart from that, and a leaky sunroof, it was in pretty good shape when it came off the road & now I'm considering whether to get to work on it.

Current transport is a 2001 Renault Clio 1.1, with 182k on it, despite which it has flown through the two MoT's since I've had it, and pretty much everything works. Well worth the £250 i paid  :-D

Looking forward to getting involved

And a few quick pics of the Scirocco, now that I've worked out how to attach them...

After spontaneously appearing on that smokey Saab thread, I thought I should say hello -

Been lurking a while, mainly chuckling at the wisdom of Colin, but also enjoying the chod that folks drive about in.

Fleet as it stands right now is

a Saab 9-5 diesel estate. Which I can only assume was designed by Swedes who got drunk while locked in a GM parts cupboard. But it is a nice place to sit. I’ve sat in it for the last 55k miles.

The wife’s mk4 Golf. I hate this car and refuse to mention it again.

1973 VW bay window camper. Pineapple free. In fact it’s probably one of the minority to remain at original height, which makes me happy. It’s also off the road right now waiting for me to do some jobs, but soon...

Anyhow, I shall attempt to contribute...

Hi I'm a new member from sunny saddleworth.

Currently trying to keep my 2003 Audi S3 on the road as it is going through a weekly phase of devouring parts. Always had a soft spot for the S3 due to them flying under the radar a bit and being 4wd and pretty quick.

Decided to get myself one in December and it's been a love/hate relationship ever since.

My Mrs says my car is shite so I hope I'll fit in ????????

Hi all. Just thought i would say a quick hello.

Im a bit of a shiter and my current shiteheap is a classic 2002 Ford Ka Style that cost me a bargain £70. It wasn't a bargain at all. It needed a pair of sills.

Anyway i'm James, I am steeped in history when it comes to shite, Vauxhall nova, Citroen Saxo VTR, Sierra, Metros etc.

I'm a glutton for punishment.

Look forward to chatting with you all

Welcome along, new persons.  Tea and biscuits over there; go easy on the pink wafers, they're a bit out of date.

Hi all,

After lurking on here for awhile, whilst plucking up courage to introduce myself and as it is now raining, so work has stopped, I thought now is an appropriate time to introduce myself.

My name is Ian and I live in Ilkeston Derbyshire. I have a fondness for Citroen’s and currently drive an Acadiane and a 1.6 BX. Now the BX has come off the road I have started to address one or two issues, such as the bodged heating. Hopefully if I can work out how to post pictures, some may make an appearance .

King regards Ian

Good evening shite people. New person here, currently driving an absolutely horrendous '02 330D Touring.

Hello chaps, I'm Sam from glamorous Birmingham. I'm an avid fan of shite and have been for as long as i remember.

Currently knocking about in a 1996 Ford Mondeo 1.8 GLX with a fucked heater. I bought it in Downham Market in Norfolk 18 months or so ago for £800 and it's only had a burst fuel line (hastily repaired with an offcut of pipe dad had lying around the garage and a couple of jubilee clips) and failed to start once for reasons known only to itself.

First car was a 1995 Rover 620 SLI in three shades of Nightfire Red, rust, and gaffer tape. Twatted by a Transhit on Halloween 2016. RIP in peace shite prince.

Looking forward to chatting with you guys

Hell, yes.  Keep them away from Pillock, though.

Hi, I'm a new member! Just wanted to say hello. I drive my beloved Saab 9-3 OG, which I bought for just over £400, and I have a Porsche 924 project too (Also bought and being restored on a shoestring).

I live in North East Wales, where on I've side we have civilisation and on the other mountain roads.

I was brought to this forum through watching HubNut videos on YouTube. I though he had to be the coolest car YouTuber out there!

Cheers, Tim.

Hi,

Lol I tried to introduce myself using my phone to navigate and missed this thread! But then the first few posts here give me an excuse. Now I'm on a computer and everything makes a bit more sense!

I'm Tim and I drive my trusty black X-reg Saab 9-3 OG. I bought it for just over £400 and has been as good as gold. It's comfy, quick, fun, carries loads all day if you need to. I use it as a band tour bus, a very comfortable family wagon (bear in mind it's the hatchback and it's got the annoying bar across the back of the seats so with only one seat folded so it might as well be a saloon) and my source of fun on quiet Welsh roads.

I live in North East Wales, on one side of us there is civilisation and on the other there are quiet mountain roads.

I also have a Porsche 924 project, also bought and under-going some basic restoration on a shoe-string.

I found this forum through watching HubNut on You Tube, he sounds to me like the coolest car guy in the internet! And this forum seems like a great place for people like me who think that £1000 is far too much to pay for a half decent car!

Anyway that's me, see you all around.

Tim

I have never heard them speak at all. Maybe the count silently.
