I’m not into conspiracy theories or anything.

But my conspiracy theory is Bucketeer made a citizen’s arrest on the fella who took away your Zafira, decked him, stole his truck and parked it in a secret lockup.

Along came a crack commando unit who then fixed the Zafira using parts from skips. They couldn’t head to the motor factors as they’re still wanted by the government, and had to make do. They then fitted a towhitch and left it for Bucketeer to pick up again.

I would say you should thank them for their work, but you’d need to find them first.
