According to DVLA:

PN15 ROT : £399

PN15 BMW : £999

PN15 XTN : £399

PN15 NVY : unavailable, so presumably out there somewhere.

Posted

PN15 NVY will have been banned for obvious reasons, though the DVLA don't ban potentially offensive plates well/thoroughly enough. I've seen F4KOF before. Doesn't help that there's no simple way to report offensive plates.

I'd pay good money for an offensive plate. Especially if it dropped the C-bomb.

Yeah, that's right. COR5A.

When I'm loaded I'm buying the plate 4Q and I don't care how much it costs.

Saw a new Merc this week with the reg plate  G CRISPY.

Can't work out what the original plate would have been, unless it's blatanly obvious....

Oh,the RF900 passed it's mot on the way home

A trip to the Raven may be in order later

Our next door neighbour had "Poo 2 Lucy" PO02 LCY.

Maybe she was an ex or summat.

Tuesday I went into work in the 2cv and parked next to a trabant that I think belongs to a foreign lorry driver working for one of the neighbouring companies. When I left there was a new white mclaren on the other side! How's that for a line-up!

Boss's 195k Rover 75 CDTi went in for MOT today. Failed on two broken back springs.

"Ouch, did you not feel it?"

"Feel it? I knew about them last year, was just hoping the bugger wouldn't notice them this year either."

The spares Volvo has gone for scrap.A lad from round the corner turned up with a flatbed LDV,& with just a couple of scaffolding planks & ratchet straps, slowly pulled the thing up onto the back.He then took the wheels off so I could keep them, even after one had gone through the bed  :-D

The 530 says 18.5c, the Z facing the other way says 22c. Either way, it's a good day to be off work and live at the coast. :-D

Similarly lacking pics, I've headed out in the Nippa for a drive and almost waved at the Proton saloon coming the other way.

The hole is behind the bricks so I've to dig out to the fence at the back.

Plus a few BMW 2002 parts for garden decoration.  8)

A guy came and took 30 sacks yesterday and wants another 50 or 60 he thinks, just made a change for someone from Freecycle to actually turn up so I was glad to help him load them up.

Sieve is worn out so I was fixing it but stupid welder is all wonky so I'm stuck between either buying the gas regulator/pipework and a new helmet or a new sieve.

I now own that bumperless p6. It's heading northwards on Thursday . Hopefully it'll be up and with without too much effort .

It's not very often I say this, but I've just sold the Corsa and I was happy to see it go. Not so much the fault of the car, just the endless knob weasels trying to get it for next to nothing.

On the other hand, I removed the Georgia Dagaki CD and replaced it with the Jackie Evancho (<--) Awakening CD.

Which won't play any more.

Neither will the Georgie Dagaki one.  Or any other CD.

Player has always been somewhat temperamental, mainly in cold weather when it sits and thinks for about five minutes before playing.  Now it just spits the CDs out again.

Not the end of the world as there is a changer under the seat that works fine - except only the left hand speakers:(

Full sound (both channels, but all through the LHS?

Oh well.  Tinkering may be required.

Just seen a car with a number plate, that on first glance, read; PENIS!

It was actually PN15 something, but it made me laugh.

That was Steve Parish, former bike racing superstar in the late 70's/early 80's and truck racer.

He had it on a bmw x5 last time I saw him.

Wow, 200,000 miles in a c5! Did you sell your soul to the devil?

Hardly done anything to it.  Oil changes now and again - try for 6,000 but it is nearly at the official 12,500 now.

Battery starting to fail too.  God knows how old it is and is a lower spec than original (came with the car)

There's a taxi firm in South Shields that retired a C5 as it was getting a bit shabby but running perfectly - 440,000 miles!

As I generally do - spotted it in works car park.

Just back from a couple of nights camping in Wiltshire. Stayed at the Barge Inn in Honeystreet which is ace. With a big camping field behind a pub it would be a good Shitefest venue.

Apart from the Transit I didn't see much chod till the drive home via Slimbridge. Between there and Gloucester I passed a two tone 126, Moggie 1000 van and a Citroen GS service van that I'm fairly sure I've met the owner of.

Disco has behaved but deserves a good service, clean and some minor tweaks.
