I believe there is 'Some Lurvve' for old Datsun 240Z rally cars hereabouts......

I say this as I was passed, today, by ANOTHER 'scrote Mk2 Ketchup Red 'clone' rally warrior.....

Ah Haaaaaaaa  8)  >>> Wott Iz Diss

.... I get passed by THIS, on his way to service - just outside Durham, East of the A1(M).

And, yes, the 'scrote was getting service at the same place......

That was this morning, I got up to go, saw the weather and kicked the boots off and put the kettle on. Poisoned a little for my tastes by being Ford Escort heavy, it's a bit like a one make championship.

Got dragged round the shops today , the high point was seeing that The Sylvanian family have got an A40 Somerset.

SRSLY, is the rabbit character called "Mixxy"?

That's a horrible bunny disease where their eyes fall out and then they die!

Maybe loosely based on a Borgward like the one in the Oreos advert?

I wish I could find the white chocolate covered Oreos here. I have to resort to bringing a load back everytime I go to France.

They are delicious.

Just been asked if I fancy co-driving my mates TF at Brands Hatch tomorrow as his mate who was going to do so can't now find his driving licence counterpart. I was going to passenger anyway, so that might be a huge bonus if the mates licence cannot be found. Whoohoo!

Another bucket list thing ticked.

Just 3 remaining:

Buy american car, obtain VW Beetle (modern), buy Merc.

Amusing me this week:

- General butthurt because a young lad with floppy hair has dared to cover an over-rated (and horribly over-produced at the time) Lennon track. I don't especially like the kid, but really, who gives a rat's ass? There are far more offensive sounds coming from radios at the moment.

Top item on the local TV news this evening (Look North): combination weights for agricultural tractors and trailers are to go up in 2015, as are speed limits for tractors. Just in case I'd forgotten I live in Turnip-county ;)

The Renault** diagnostic board is surprisingly accurate, just ask chompy.

**applies to all PSA products.

In a recent encounter with a breakdown recovery man he seemed genuinely impressed that I (being under 30) knew how to work a manual choke!  That cheered me up!  That plus all the car needed was a go on his super-duper battery charger and all it's problems suddenly vanished!

Last night I had a pretty manic dream that I'd accidentally bought a Rover 25 with HGF and an MG TF with no head at all and ceased brakes and had to get them removed from the drive before my family got home.

Let's see what tonight brings, night all!

Just realised my oven has a grill setting, it's just the icon had worn off the face. Cheese on toast and pitta bread pizzas all round!
