None of the things listed above. He hasn't seen it yet. He might yet change his mind, no-one knows about the eligibility yet.

No, it wouldn't last very long.

If it gets turned into an OFAH replica I will find it and torch the fucker.

It's not going for a short drive on a long sweeping curve is it?

If it goes on a short drive around a vaguely circular track then nobody could blame you, it's not like you didn't try at great length to sell it.

Also, anyone racing that would need to have seriously large spuds and be taking industrial strength brave pills. Or be a bit mental.

It and that red Princess are going to live on a farm.

At least it will if it's allowed on the squircle.

Is that like an elderly dog that "goes to live on the farm with all the other dogs"?

Is it one of those durability/last man standing races like top gear did a while back?

Yes. But with more HIABs and hawsers.

@Green:  That 6 makes such a happy noise!  I would definitely have been a fool to pass up on that.  Why had I not bothered to search for Renault 6 videos I wonder?

@Dicky: I reckon I still want it Aconite with a Champagne roof, but I can't deny the Champagne is great at looking clean even when it's filthy which I'm sure Aconite won't.

I just had the chance to watch said video... it seems to fire in a particularly random French fashion. Or is that me? It's like it's going rmpfthsrmlfrlmrlpfsthrmpfthsh which is good and well, but sounds like for all intents and purposes the carburettor is utter crap and/or needs repair.. or the valve timing isn't set right.

I guess I'm spoiled to fuel injection on my merde.

Sounds perfectly normal** to me.

Mine sounds exactly the same.  I'm assuming it's normal for them to sound like that.

Viewed a house to rent for next term. Three 19 year old, Slovakian girls living there (no other guys), semi-detached with a sizeable garage, driveway and no parking restrictions outside. A bit further away from University but £40 a month cheaper than my current digs.

The landlady couldn't understand why I showed more interest in the garage than the house.

I've managed to organise my first proper car show for the Facebook club I run, I'm pretty excited by this as it's at the Ipswich Transport Museum, they have even agreed to have two of their classic buses running for us during the day for free.

I just hope it doesn't piss it down with rain all day now.  :?

This is going to sound obvious but since cutting down pub visits/drinking to once a week I feel so much better in so many ways.

I have always drunk far too much alcohol and lately had been feeling like my body was trying to 'warn' me about it.

One cigarette a day now too (except pub night when it's about 15).

We'll see how long it lasts.

Aye, it does make a difference. I never used to get hangovers, but still put away far too much throughout the week, and it's incredible how much it affects your whole metabolism and mental state - you don't always realise how much until you stop and see the difference. I'm still drinking more than I should, but have managed to impose some limits, and it's quite liberating.

A few months back I had one of them PPI claimback things through the post. This one was tied into my debt management plan and offered lower rates than others, I thought "fuck it" and scribbled on a few forms. They wrote back to say they thought I'd be in with a chance with my Cahoot loan - part of Santander, so I told them to go for it. I reckoned I might make back fifty odd quid or so after their fees. Given I defaulted on the loan after a year and have been paying back tuppence a month or something through a DMP I didn't think I'd have much.

Santander have now written directly to me, bypassing the PPI folk, and offered me six hundred quid. I don't honestly know whether to keep schtum to the PPI people and take it, or whether to own up to them and let them take their cut.... but still, that's not bad.

I only used them because I'm lazy and thought there'd be fuck-all in it.... a few quid tops.

I've not heard from them in a good month or so, perhaps they gave up. At one stage they were sending me thirty-page forms to "read" and "sign", and if they didn't get them back within a few days would helpfully send the same thing through again.

Just for you a cheeky picture I took of 3 girls in SK:

Dobry Den - Hello.

Find your nearest Czech type shop and buy some Kofola or Vinea.  ;-)

Ford took children's safety to a new (low) level back in the 1970's, no sign of Jimmy Savile's clunk-clicking here. (See 3:30 onwards)

In the past you didn't need seatbelts in the back for kids, you just had more of them so you could pack them in tightly enough that they wouldn't move in a crash or any other situation for that matter.

After looking forward to seeing the girls from that photo, you'll probably end up with three grunting unwashed heffalumps who'll break your sofa and block the drains.
