What you wrote was:

Are we good?

Maybe you could also have written:

History repeats itself.

Or

I don't think there's anything wrong with using the present participle "history is repeating" but I concur your point about itself and it's self..

This made me chuckle

"We still used it in the evening but it didn't turn me on anymore, so it's faulty"

Thank goodness there's a picture of a TV otherwise I'd wonder what it is they're selling 🤣🤣

There is a multitude of ways to utter this. Nothing write* nothing wrong. But I stick with what I writted*.

Spent dinner time mooching around shepherd's bush green with my dad this afternoon, and out of thousands of cars a s3 landy and beautiful faded gold prefix-Y 5 door saab were the only decent sights, and I failed to get photos of either!

Walked into Tesco and engine oil was on offer , that's the next oil change sorted .

However the petrol at our "remote" Tesco is some 7p more a litre than the remote petrol station by our static in the lakes ???? , Thankfully I brimmed it before heading home and it's still full ..

I swear it's a lottery.
I live literally next door to the largest refinery in the country and fuel is super expensive here.

I go to some remote place in Wales and it's 10p a litre cheaper.

This is quite important, I have found Alan Partridges five bedroomed bastard house on google earth

many years I've searched manually, no luck at all. Trawling from estate to estate, looking at planning applications for the mid/late 90s, aerial shots, never found fuck all!

But here she is! last sold for £1.8 million

Great find. Did you post to reelstreets? I wonder if the Metro is still parked on the other side of the road...

I found it about 15 seconds ago and the only people I know who might even slightly care are on here. I've not heard of realstreets, I'll stick it on there tomorrow if it's not already been found!

E5 in Costco is £1.40

The BP round the corner £1.70 , it was a proper fuck off moment when I pulled the handle out , only put £5 in at that price

I've never lived near a Costco that sold petrol - the one in MK didn't. I believe the one in Southampton does though, it's a decent 20 mile round trip just for some fuel but I suppose I could always fill up when I went past.
I should really re-join though. Problem is, it's like going in Ikea - you can't come out with just 1 thing. I mean, it's mandatory to come out with a tray of cakes and chicken breasts.

Our local one across Manchester is currently 130.9 for premium diesel and e10 with e5 at 137.9

Seriously considering another TDV8 now! 😂

It's the tax that kills you with many newer cars. TDV8 is now £695.

That's the plan , anything that's not really special, off the road

My supercharged RR was registered days before the cutoff but it's still £400 , what shocked me when I taxed my 2001 1600cc MX5 was the £32 a month

Just been to the chemist where there is a sign that reads "The responsible pharmacist is ...."

Can't help wondering if they also have an irresponsible pharmacist in case someone needs something more recreational.

The tyre and the bulb are a surprise as I checked them and they were fine. Easy fixes though. Looks like my car lives on

Moting a car this afternoon and the owner goes next door to ask about the work required. Comes back in my office as I'm printing off the failure. Hand him his failure and he says "see you next Tuesday"

Made me smile

No correspondence from MOT man, but I've spotted a pass on the system. Grin is even bigger

Best mate finally got her 2008 back from the bodyshop after the rear door got damaged during a break-in.

Apparently £5.5k total cost to the insurance. So close to being written off it seems!

But the kicker is this. She's had a fault with the drivers door for some time as the wiring was breaking up, so no speaker, and the remote locking wouldn't lock the door, had to be locked via the key. Clearly after fitting a replacement rear door they've scanned it or discovered the issue, assumed it was part of the vehicle damage somehow and fixed it! Shed have paid her excess to get that repaired, probably.
